I am trying to measure two variables which are organizational culture and knowledge sharing behavior.
1. I want the writer to search for Hofestede?s questionnaires that are used to measure organizational culture based on the organizational culture dimensions which are:
a. Means oriented vs goal oriented
b. Local vs professional
c. Externally Driven vs Internally Driven
d. Employee oriented vs Work oriented
e. Easy going work discipline vs strict work discipline
f. Open system vs close system
g. Degree of identification with the organization
h. Degree of acceptance of leadership style
2. I want the writer the search for scholary journals that measured knowledge sharing behavior
Based on the above I want the researcher to design me a questionnaire in order to measure those variables.

Sota Report

sota Report

SOTA Report
Each student will prepare and submit an individual state-of-the-art (SOTA) report as described below.
Purpose of the SOTA Report
The purpose of the SOTA research is to gather the necessary background information to tackle your project effectively. Engineering design is not a purely creative exercise, but is built on what has been done before. When beginning a design project, it is important to gather information and conduct research to find answers to questions like:
• Has anybody solved this problem before? If so, how did they do it? How well did it work? Can we improve on their solution?
• Has anybody solved a similar problem in a completely different domain? Maybe the solution can be found in nature. The idea for Velcro came from the way burrs stick to a dog’s fur.
• Are there some new or emerging technologies that can be applied to the problem? Maybe these technologies make some old ideas feasible.
• What are the key analytical and/or experimental methods and techniques you will need to successfully solve the problem?
Sometimes emerging technologies are solutions looking for problems. The Goretex company developed a way to coat wire with Teflon. The application they had in mind didn’t work out, but they discovered that these wires made excellent guitar strings.
Specific Requirements
Your SOTA report shall be prepared using a font size of 11 points and 1.5 lines spacing and must be less than 2000 words plus figures. It should follow the sections listed in Appendix B. You must include a reference list in APA style. This list should contain at least 10 references to scholarly, reliable sources such as journal articles, books, trade publications, standards, patents, and government websites. In your reference list, also include any other sources you consult (for example, supplier websites, news media). The report must contain the following:
1. Search Log and References
Search Log: In your lab book, keep track of the process you follow to find information for your SOTA report. Show evidence of brainstorming for keywords (diagram or list). You are expected to search in the library catalogue and article databases (such as EI Compendex and Scopus), and you may also use online search engines (such as Google or Google Scholar).
For each place you look (catalogue, database, search engine), your search log should include:
• the date you did your research • where you searched, and your rationale for that choice • what search terms you used, and how you combined them • how you modified your search as you proceeded Also make note of points such as: useful subject headings, searches that were particularly
helpful (or useless), problems you ran into and how you addressed those.ES 1050 DESIGN PROJECT III 4

Survey and assessment of current technology and existing solutions.
give a technical description of relevant engineering and scientific principles benchmark the best products/technologies/solutions identify any design failures and lessons to be learned examine the design features and tradeoffs of the best-in-class designs identify technological factors limiting performance. For example, in digital photography, larger image sensors are more expensive but give better images. The technological challenge is to reduce the cost of large sensors and/or improve the performance of small ones.
Survey and assessment of relevant emerging technology.
What new technologies are fundamentally reshaping the market? An example would be digital technology and photography. What new technologies have potential to radically reshape the market in the next few years? Examples include optical computing, DNA computing, nanotechnology, etc.
Assessment criteria may include the following:
• Performance in satisfying requirements. • Human factors and ease of use. • Technological tradeoffs and limitations. • Technological readiness. Is the new technology sufficiently developed to be
practical? Where are we on the S-curve? • Potential benefits. How much better is the new technology compared to the best
existing technology? • Cost.
• Environmental friendliness.
The topic of your SOTA report should relate to what your team is doing for Project III. The SOTA reports can be used to help determine the specific barrier that your group will move forward with, or they can be used to provide background information on a particular barrier (and potential solutions) once it has been chosen. Each group member should work independently on their SOTA report, ideally on a topic different from the other group members.
The report must be submitted both as a paper copy and as an electronic copy through Turnitin.com on Owl. All papers will be subject to submission for textual similarity review to the commercial plagiarism detection software under license to the University for the detection of plagiarism. All papers submitted will be included as source documents in the reference database for the purpose of detecting plagiarism of papers subsequently submitted to the system. Use of the service is subject to the licensing agreement, currently between The University of Western Ontario and Turnitin.com

Supply Chain Management

32

Supply Chain Management
Listed below are the requirements for the paper.

1. Develop a literature review on your topic. This is a Masterâ?™s
paper. You need to have a theoretical background in your paper. Broadly,
your topic is supply chain management. You might start with that and
narrow down to your specific topic. I would begin with â??what is supply
chain management and why it is important? You can also talk about
industry trends and some good business examples of supply chain
management, which are found in the literature and cited in the paper. Give
your readers some background information about your topic. The significant
portion of literature review is what researchers have done in the area.
The context of the topic should be thoroughly presented in the literature
review. You need to look at other research papers, to see how they
organize their literature review as well as the contents of the literature
review.

2. Expand on the topic of supply chain
network optimization in the paper and explain why supply chain network
optimization is vital to designing and implementing an optimized supply
chain. Again, make sure the reader understands big picture: What is supply
chain management? Why is supply chain management important for retail?
What can a retailer do if there supply chain isn’t cost effective? The
answer is conduct supply chain network optimization to identify where the
supply chain isn’t optimal. Why was it important for Dell to conduct
supply chain network optimization?

3. Add the slide from the Power Point on the
Perfect Order and expand upon why the Five P’s of retail are so
important to the success of a retailer. Explain how Dell didn’t focus
on the Five P’s of retailing and that they simply assumed that the
systems and process in place to service their business and online
consumers would be adequate to serve retailers.

4. Justify your methodology. Explain why you
chose the methodology to resolve the issues. If I understand you
correctly, your final goal is to â??Designâ? a process to eliminate the
logistical problems and â??Indentifyâ? opportunities to reduce costs.
And, you will achieve the goal by first evaluating their as-is process and
moving on to solutions from there. In the methodology, you need to explain
in detail how you evaluated their process, proving the rationale of your
evaluation. By doing this readers can understand and agree with the
process from evaluation to suggesting solutions. The rationale can be what
you find from literature or of other business examples. Based on what you
have presented in the paper at this point, readers are not able to
determine whether your solutions were correct. Readers need to see
whether you followed the appropriate procedure and logical reasoning to
reach the conclusion, in this case, your solution. I think, this is the
difference between studying as a student and working as a professional. In
the real business world, your solutions can be evaluated mostly by
outcomes. However, your Masterâ?™s paper is a studentâ?™s
academic work. The procedure that you followed to come up with the
solutions is as important as the outcome that the solutions resulted in.
This is what you needed to work on for your degree in addition to what you
did for your job.

4. Rewrite your abstract. An abstract is a summary of your entire paper.
Your current abstract is more like an introduction to your paper, rather
than containing the key points of your work, including methodology and
results.

5. Double-check in-text citations. You need to cite anything that are not
your own thoughts or ideas. Check to see if you cited all of the
information from outside resources. And, check how to cite a source
without the authorâ?™s name, using APA style.

6. Your paper must be formatting following the Graduate School
Guidelines.. Here is the link once again. Youâ?™ll see that there
are Table of Contents, List of Figures, etc. that need to be included in
the paper. http://www.ndsu.edu/gradschool/graduating_students/dtp/format/

A critical evaluation and review of the concept and application of the Tableau de bord, and its uses in contemporary performance management and control.

30

A critical evaluation and review of the concept and application of the Tableau de bord, and its uses in contemporary performance management and control.

The Balanced Scorecard was developed by US academics Kaplan and Norton in the 1990s in response to a need to broaden the criteria used by organisations to manage and control their performance. The Balanced scorecard was created because, at the time it was recognised that many of the criteria which contributed to the success of an organisation were “soft” qualitative in nature rather than quantitative or financial.

Hence the balanced scorecard uses a range of measures to evaluate performance from four different perspectives identified by Kaplan and Norton. This was seen by many to be a revolutionary approach to performance measurement and control, however the real “trail blazer” in relation to this topic was the France, who decades earlier had developed the iconic “Tableau de bord”, which is widely used throughout the country, but is little known elsewhere.

You are required to undertake a review and evaluation of the research that has been undertaken in relation to both the Balanced scorecard and the Tableau de bord and the contribution each model has made to modern business management, identifying examples of real world “good practice”.
Tasks:

Write a management report (1,800 words maximum) to:

1. Critically appraise and evaluate both the Balanced scorecard and the Tableau de bord, identifying the performance criteria used in each of the two models.

2. Identify key performance criteria which you consider would be useful in relation to each of the two methods, stating which of the two methods should be considered “best practice” and why.

3. Draw, based on your critical analysis and appraisal, appropriate conclusions and recommendations for both profit and not for profit organisations.

4. Make a brief presentation based on the findings of you analysis and content of your report
