Abstract (2.5 pts): Per APA (2009) Requirements ? One single page (not to exceed 250 words). Identify the scope of this case analysis and literature review. How might the significance of your topic concerning this selected ethnic group relate to you as a current or future human service practitioner? Identify its relevance in relation to the field of human services and social work?
Background and Introduction of Topic (10 pts):? Describe this ethnic group. Include any census data related to your community, state, or nation. Identify how other related professions are impacted by this discussion? Add any other information as deemed appropriate.
Literature Review / Application (10 pts):? Based upon your discussion, what have you gathered from the literature? Here’s where you will integrate and apply your articles and integrate them into a scholarly discussion. Write an in depth literature review to include at a review of 4 scholarly references. Feel free to reference the NASW Ethics documents and any of your text or classroom resources in this section.
Summary / Conclusion (10 points): How does this topic relate or may be applied to your work, internship, community, home, or even volunteer setting? How might others benefit from your new or affirmed level of knowledge? What have you learned from this level of inquiry? How would you as a professional evaluate cultural competency inside your agency? Are staffing patterns reflective of your community’s ethnic groups? You may end your paper by including any reflections or new insight that you have gained from the course.
