The three concepts of drug, set and setting correspond closely with the

Select a current issue of interest in nursing practice or health care that is important to the delivery of health care. Review the literature on this topic/issue (professional as well as lay literature should be reviewed). Write a letter to a legislative official summarizing the literature (both pro and cons), taking a position on the issue. Present your argument in an articulate, concise manner. The expectation is that the letter could be sent to the legislative official.

Format of Paper
• Double-spaced, 12-point font, Times New Roman
• Number the pages at the top right.
• The paper should be a minimum of 7 pages in length
• Include an introductory paragraph with a thesis statement.
• Include a concluding paragraph. Make sure to refer back to the thesis statement.
• Use at least 5 outside sources (books, internet sites , journal articles, and interviews)
• Make sure you choose sources that are trustworthy without propaganda
• List these sources on a new page of the end of the paper and title it “Works Cited.” Use MLA format. If your source is a website, include the URL link.
• If you quote or paraphrase a phrase or sentence(s) from an outside source, make sure you use quotation marks. Cite the author and page number within a parenthesis after the sentence in which you quote information.

The final exam is a research term paper based on an individual case that each student will complete on his/her own.
