Now that you have read selections from the Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings, which group do you think ends up “on top” in the end? And Why?

Topic: Now that you have read selections from the Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings, which group (kings, priests, or prophets) do you think ends up “on top” in the end? And Why?
Paper instructions:
Over the course of our term, we have talked about the various strains of literature in the Hebrew Scriptures and how, depending on who may have authored the material, different roles are shown as the mediators between God and humanity. We saw texts that asserted that the kings were to be the intercessors, others that claimed priests and still others that showed prophets. For this response, being careful to not look past the compilation of the TANAK, you will make an argument about which group ultimately ends up as the most important in the completed Hebrew Scriptures: kings, priests, or prophets. Now that you have read selections from the Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings, which group (kings, priests, or prophets) do you think ends up “on top” in the end? And Why?

In order to qualify to receive full credit for this response, you must cite the biblical material AT LEAST three times; once from the Torah, once from the Nevi’im, and once from the Kethuvim. You must also cite Coogan at least once. You may, of course, cite more, but more importantly, you must prove to me that you have read the material and are grappling with the concepts.

You have 600 words this time. Responses over the 600 word limit will loose points—responses under 550 words will loose points. This Final Response will constitute 20% of your course grade.
All syllabus parameters apply:

Final Response
I will post the prompt for the Final Response after our last class meeting. The Final Response will
be worth 20% of your course grade. Like the other responses it will be online. Unlike the other
responses, everyone MUST complete this response or receive a zero for 20% of the course grade.

Assignment 4: Critique of Media Report
Assignment 4 Objectives
Assignment 4 is designed to help you achieve the following objectives.
1. Assess the impact and relevance of research in psychology on people’s
everyday lives.
2. Evaluate critically information about research studies published in the
media and offer constructive alternatives.
Preparation
As you go about your everyday life, keep your eyes open for media reports of
studies that have psychological content. For Assignment 4, you will select one
media report in a newspaper, a popular magazine, or on the Internet that
describes a psychological study. The report must contain information about the
purpose of the study, the method used, the results, and any conclusions
reached.
Read the report carefully, asking yourself the following questions:
1. What is the research problem?
2. How was the study conducted?
3. What were the results?
4. What conclusions does the report imply?
5. Are the conclusions warranted by the research described?
You may find that you cannot answer one or more of the questions listed above.
Do not be overly concerned about this. The most central questions to be
answered are:
6. What questions would you like to have answered before you accept the
conclusions implied in the media report?
7. Were there any distortions in reporting? If so, what were they?
If the original source of research is indicated in the media report, you may
wish to locate the original report or journal article and use it to help you
assess the accuracy of the media report. You are not, however, expected to do
so. Most media reports fail to cite the source in enough detail to allow one to
locate the original report.

Directions for Writing the Essay
Your finished essay is to be 500 to 800 words long, and is to be divided into 3
sections as indicated below.
Section 1: Describe briefly the research problem, the method used, the results,
and the conclusions reported.
Section 2: Describe any essential information that is missing. Discuss how
different outcomes of the missing information may affect the validity of
conclusions claimed.
Section 3: Draw your conclusions about the usefulness of this media report in
disseminating information.

20131105064434 – last paper from another writer
comments: “The writer just seems to talk about disasters, which is cool, but
how did the disaster affect a company, how did the company recover, etc? The
main topic is technology. Please re-read the instructions that was sent with
the paper “
“This paper just doesn’t fit good for the assignment. First off for the York
flood disaster ,documents being wet and then air dried doesn’t really call for
a good “example.” of disaster recovery plan in action.
For the construction company one, how is the a disaster talked even a disaster?
A disaster recovery plan in IT would go into effect when something like a
hurricane, tornadoe, fire, flood, theft, Hacking, etc anything that causes a
company to lose it current info/data and would for the backups or hot sites to
be active.
The disaster listed with flood, I wouldn’t really call wet documents being a
“disaster” and I really wouldn’t define drying the documents a satisfactory IT
disaster recovery plan. This needs to be re written, possibly by a writer who
understands the instructions the was given.”
“The 6 page order is the order that needs to be revised and changed asap. Just
please deliver a good paper”
