Impact analysis of High speed railway on China’s local economy

The project report should include a background research on the history, population, and characteristics of that county’s local economic structure. The analytical part should include
the simulation of the impact of an exogenous shock or public policy, for example:
• promotion of tourism activities to revive a distressed economy;
• property tax breaks for homeowners.
The report is evaluated based on the topic originality and whether it has clear planning/policy implications.
Alternatively, you may use the I-O/SAM data for a (non U.S.) country and for which the data are available. Examples of international datasets that past students had used for final projects include those for Colombia, China, Germany, Indonesia, Mexico, and South Korea. The International Food Policy Research Institute has links to free SAM data for many developing countries.

Movie review of Age of Innocent

Creat a thesis centered essay that you feel genuinely embraces some of the salient conclusions that you have reached.
1. As an art form, movies involve literature, the political and plastic art, music, dance, theater, and even architecture. The student interested in architecture might thus respond keenly to an Eisenstein or Antonioni movie, if he or she can direct that interest to how these film makers use architectural space to add to the drama that they are presenting.(I’m an architecture student)
2. The images that you see on a movie screen are the product of certain influences and conditions, not just the world seen through the frame. The movies are not just about a subject but the rendition of that subject for particular reasons and to creat certain meanings. Film are not just about a story, a character, a place, or a way of life; they are also what john Berger has called a away of seeing at these elements in our life. Any film at any point in history might describe a family, war or the conflict between races, but the ways these are shown and the reasons they are shown in a particular way can vary greatly.
3. To write an intelligent, perceptive analysis of the stories and characters in the movies, you must be prepared to see them as constructed according to certain forms and styles that arise from many different historical influences. This is what analysis of film is essentially about: examining and commerce. Respond to those influences that most interest you. Maintain a questioning mind from the opening credits to the closing theme.
4. Elementary questions
a. What does the title mean in relation to the story?
b. Why does the movie start in the way it does?
c. When was the film made?
d. Why are the opening credits presented in such a manner against this? Particular background?
e. Why does the film conclude on this image?
f. How is this movie different from or similar to recent Hollywood films or does it harken back to films from an older generation?
g. Does this film resemble any foreign film?
h. Is there a pattern of striking camera movement, perhaps long shots or dissolves or abrupt transitions?

Discussion 1
Final Research Project Topic
Prepare: As you prepare to write your response to this discussion assignment, it will be in your best interest to review the following resources:
• Develop a Research Topic
• Incorporate Sources into Your Research Paper
And in the Ashford University Library, search tutorials titled Picking Your Topic IS Research and Database Search Tips.

Reflect: When considering a research topic, consider an interesting topic that is worth further research. For instance, having a strong opinion on a specific topic may deter you from thinking more critically, and therefore the research might end up being one-sided. It is a good idea to pick a topic in which you can provide a good argument for both sides of the societal issue.
Write: The first step in the research process is selecting a topic that is both interesting and manageable. For this discussion:
• Review the Final Research Project instructions in Week Five, and identify two potential research topics. The two topics are prayer in schools and privacy rights. Keep in mind that you will choose just one for the Week Three Annotated Bibliography assignment and the Final Research Project.
• Describe methods to use in identifying and narrowing your research paper topic.
• Examine and summarize information from at least two scholarly sources for one of the topics that may prove valuable as you seek to defend your claims regarding your chosen topic.
• Address why scholarly sources should be used to support your writing on the selected topic.
• Support your claims with examples from required material(s) and/or other scholarly sources, and properly cite any references.
• Your initial post should be at least 250 words in length.
Discussion 2
Ethics and Moral Development
Prepare: In preparing for this discussion, you should first review the Week Two required resources that focus on ethics and morals. You will examine your own development of ethical and moral responsibilities.
Reflect: Take a deeper look at your own life and determine which experiences have inspired ethical and moral reasoning. Were there any huge influences in this process?
Write: For this discussion you will
• Explain what it means to be ethical as it relates to personal, academic, and professional growth.
• Provide at least one ethical dilemma you have encountered and describe how the issue was resolved.
• Describe how your general education courses influenced your ethical values.
• Explain why a college-educated person might have different duties to society than someone not as educated.
• Support your claims with examples from required material(s) and/or other scholarly sources, and properly cite any references.
• Your initial post should be at least 250 words in length.
each discussion needs one referance each.
