Write a report that is 3-4 pages long (12 pt. Times double-spaced, 800 word minimum) of your experiences at the musical performance you attended. Performances attended prior to the course are not acceptable for the concert report.
The report should have the following elements:
! Name of the performer(s).
! Name of venue (include the name of the city).
! Date and time of the performance.
! If a classical concert is attended, list all of the pieces performed at the concert (every movement is not necessary). If a non-classical concert is attended, list five of the songs performed.
! A critique of two to three pieces/songs from the performance, using appropriate musical terms to describe what your musical experience.
! If you choose to critique a multiple movement work as one of the three, select one of the movements to write about.
! Include the following elements in your critique:
• The title and composer of the piece;
• At least two specific things that you enjoyed about the piece, or affected you in a positive way, or;
• At least two specific things that you did not enjoy about the piece, or affected you in an adverse way.
• Your overall impression of the music and any emotional reactions you had to the music.
• An overall opinion about if you liked or disliked the piece and why you have come to that conclusion.
• Provide and opinion about the quality of the performance. For example, did the group sound very good, or were there times when it sounded like there were wrong notes or things were out of tune?
• Include anything special or unique about the performance should be
included. Was the featured soloist especially strong? Was the conductor exciting to watch? Was there a particular section of the orchestra/group that was especially fun to watch and listen to? Anything like this is great and is what makes attending concerts such a special event.
! After attending the performance, submit your report in the following manner:
• Save the file as a .doc or .pdf format so the report will open. If the report does
not open, you will not receive a grade.
• Name your file “Concert Report” when you save your report to submit.
• Submit your report through the Assignments link in the menu.

• Speak about upbringing as an illegal immigrant and having no hope to continue my education.
• Struggles moving to a new country and adapting to my new surroundings
• Losing hope because of the misfortune of not being able to fix my legal situation and being with my hands tied.
• Contemplating taking the wrong way through life because the right way wasn’t working.
2. Speaking about the day that changed me and showed me the true meaning to life:
• Give a detailed run down of the day I almost lost my life and the old me died so the new me could start over.
• The cross road of my life when it came to changing the whole idea of the rest of my life.
• New ray of hope that shinned down in my life when it came to my legal status and me being able to become a well respected professional that I always wanted to be.
• The steps I took to move forward with my new life and fixing my legal situation with this new Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (also known “DACA”) that President Barrack Obama passed and how it affected my whole family and my life.
3. First real semester of college as a new ambitious me:
• Having to work 2 jobs to afford only 9 out state tuition credits because of my legal status.
• Not loosing hope to becoming the best nurse and future nurse practitioner possible.
• Moving to a new area to concentrate on what really matters in my life to me. (Family and my future away from the negative energy around me)
4. New city, new experiences, new me and many more new obstacles to getting to my mission accomplished:
• Moving to Atlanta and going to campus to start the process.
• Finding out I couldn’t afford school once again bc of my legal status and having to take another semester off and put my future on hold again. (US Immigration system SUCKS!)
• Having to work 2 to 3 jobs again to be able to pay the spring semester of 2016 bc I still can’t get in state tuition or Fasfa even though I have been here long enough. (DACA only allows you to stay in the US legally but it doesn’t help any when it comes to the education system)

Post the theory of change and logic model for your professional development program. Briefly describe your role related to the program outlined in your logic model. Then, describe how your logic model contributes to a “glass box evaluation” as described in this week’s Learning Resources.

Assessing Evaluability

In the previous course, you developed a logic model to help define a program to address a particular need at your school*. In your logic model, you incorporated a theory of change by identifying the inputs, activities, and outcomes along the way that would result in your intended goal, in terms of student learning.

In this Discussion, you will present your logic model and its theory of change to your Walden colleagues and use an Evaluability Assessment Rubric and other criteria to assess the evaluability of one another’s programs. This collaborative activity will help you critically analyze other logic models and theories of change through the lens of the Evaluability Assessment Rubric and help you to refine your own logic model and theory of change. This work is challenging and may take some practice. Be sure to use your Learning Resources to guide you and review examples that can give you a vision of how to develop your own finished products.
Following the guidelines and examples in this week’s Learning Resources, take a moment to sketch out the theory of change that is the foundation of your logic model. For examples of theories of change, review Figures 4B, 4C, and 4D in Chapter 4, “Assess Evaluability,” of your course text by Killion. As you map out your program’s theory of change, make any revisions to your logic model that may be necessary based on your learning this week. Refer to Table 4.3 for an example of a logic model and review the information provided in the chapter describing the components of a logic model.
