The reports are probably the most important component of the course and you should put effort into making them high-quality and easily readable. Think of these as assignments an intern might receive on the job: you want to earn the respect and admiration of your boss (TA , professor)! Typing is always preferred, and all writing should be in complete and grammatically correct sentences.
Depending on the report there is typically a data analysis, graphical presentation, a mathematical problem and written summary in several parts. Students are expected to be able to present tables and graphs in Excel or a similar software. All tables and graphs should be neat and clearly labelled. We will discuss guidelines in class. I am happy to cover details of Excel for students who may need help, but we will do this outside class as the need arises.
All of the reports combine numerical analysis with interpretation. You will often see the words “explain” or “summarize”. Interpret these as shorthand for: “Type a short, clear paragraph in grammatically correct English to explain your answer.” If you follow these guidelines the overall length of each report should rarely exceed 2 pages.
All graphs should be clear and large enough to be legible, and the legends or titles should be thorough enough to understand the data presented. Do not turn in the raw data in the case of graphs or other analysis. The textbook provides great illustrations of tables and graphs that follow these conventions.
Notice from the textbook samples that there is an art to presenting tables and graphs clearly. For example, there should be no excess decimal places. Imagine a table that reports US GDP as $16,345,973,299,674.98765. UGLY! It should instead indicate 16.3 ($ trillion). Any number in a table or graph should be easy to understand and without extraneous decimals. Graph formatting, such as axes values, should be simple and clear and consistent from one graph to another.
The grade of 5 points per report is broken down loosely into: 2 point neatness and clarity, 1 point completeness, and 2 points correct answers. Students should do their own work. Since you have a lot of discretion in how to present your answers, no two reports should be identical. Your TAs are authorized to penalize you if there is strong evidence of copying among students. Late reports will also be penalized by 1 point per day late.

MANAGEMEnt support

Discuss the importance of having the support of top management with cross-functional participation
when implementing a system of activity-based costing?

Statistics & data analysis

Discussion Question: Throughout the book we see the terms ‘Parametric’ and ‘Non-Parametric.’ What’s the difference? How do these terms relate to Pearson and Spearman Correlation Coefficients. Briefly describe a situation in which you would analyze data using either a Pearson or Spearman Correlation.
Please write a 300 word response to the following discussion question. I expect your response to reflect critical thought based on information from the textbook and from one additional source. Whenever possible, try to relate the discussion question to your own experiences. Be sure to appropriately cite and list your references.

Please, just answer the questions above.

Project Management Final

TAKE HOME FINAL
Each student must complete the Take Home Final. Students should include a cover page with
your name, cohort, and the name of the instructor. You may use material from class discussion,
your reading, or further research. Be sure to give proper credit to your sources of ideas as well
as direct quotes using in-text and full reference citations consistent with APA standards.
Plagiarism is considered a serious offense. It is defined as the copying of more than three
words in a row from any source or using ideas presented in a work without giving the proper
credit to the writer of those words. Any paper submitted with plagiarized material will be dealt
with according to the University catalog and will result minimally in an “F” on the Take Home
Final.
It is helpful to begin each week’s reading by reviewing the questions on the final and taking
notes that will be used in writing the answer. After each class session, continue to add more
notes to each answer. Your journal notes may also prove helpful in providing ideas for your
answers.
The take home final and all supporting information must be posted to Moodle no later than one
week from the last class.
Take Home Final:
Student take home final will be designed around a project of student’s choosing. The project
may be one related to something in the student’s personal life, work life or related to another
organization student wishes to perform a project for.
The subject of the final must involve the following items:
 Meet the definition of a project as outlined in the text and class.
 Student project team must include at least four different team members or resources
(outsourcing) that will be utilized to accomplish the objectives of the project.
 The project must be structured for a client; if personal, student can serve as the client.
 The project must have quantifiable measurements such as units of measure, costs, etc.
 The project must entail at least 20 work packages.
 The final along with all supporting graphs, charts and reports must be submitted in
electronic form and posted on Moodle by 6:00 pm on the due date (within one week of
the last class). The full report length will vary dependent on the number of figures and
appendixes. Each report must include a cover page, table of contents, narrative section
and either figures or appendixes for tables and supporting information. The narrative
section of the report should not exceed 1,500 words. The report is to be submitted using
APA 6th addition format.
Resources:
 Students must use MSFT Project for certain aspects of this final.
 Students may also utilize MSFT Excel or other software to prepare sections of the final.
 Other resources available to the student. Students should cite and document any
utilization of material from other sources.

Requirements of Final:
1. Provide a written description, including goals, for the project. Indicate who the
members of the team will be, their positions and relationship to the project as well as
each members responsibilities related to completion of the project. Define whether
the team will flow from a project, functional, or matrix structure; and whether student
will utilize outsourcing to accomplish the project. Define who the project is being
accomplished for and what are key factors of their interest in the project as well as
any other key stakeholders with interest in the outcome of the project.
2. Define the scope of the project using the six item checklist on pp 102-103 of Project
Management the Managerial Process.
3. Develop a Work Breakdown Structure chart in form similar to that found in figure 4.4
p 110, figure 4.5 p 114 or figure 4.6 p 117 (Project Management the managerial
process) dependent on which format best fits the project.
4. Develop a responsibility Matrix similar to figure 4.7 p 118 of Project Management the
managerial process and assign responsibility for the various team members.

Human resource

Please look at the feedback from few of the supervisors
Thank you for your enquiry. Whilst your subject area may in principal be of interest to us, currently your proposal is not at the standard required for PhD admission, and I suggest you spend more time researching and formulating it if you wish to apply formally here in future. In brief, your proposal is mainly at a surface level of generalised and quite descriptive blocks of text, and where you do have research questions they are rather at the level of a practical management project than a PhD enquiry. I know it is difficult to understand what is required at this early stage, but your proposal needs to show much more depth, theoretical and contextual puzzles, real specific elements to your method and data, and many more references; all so that you are able to show more convincingly in your proposal what your potential significant contribution to academic knowledge (PhD requirement) might be. In this case, there are many things you could do, but I would suggest you need to define much more what can be meant by e’training, in an HRM context (as distinct say from e’learning or education?); what level you are pitching your study at (organisations, sectors, employees?) and why; the likely influence of the particular Saudi context; and who you intend to survey in your data collection, what data you’re going to collect, and why.
Please see below the feedback of the Head of Doctoral students in the business school. The first thing, which you need to do now is to revise your proposal so that there is evidence of gap in the literature. The aims of your research and the questions should be to fill this gap, Make sure that the methodology is robust. Have a look at the research paper sin your chosen topic to have more information about this.
Unfortunately we would not take this on two grounds. Firstly, the proposal here reads very much as a management project (rather like an MBA project) and does not have clear PhD knowledge/conceptual aims and contributions. Secondly, at the moment we do not have capacity to supervise in this subject.
Can you help to improve my proposal?

Organizational Culture Model

Assignment Description

Each student will evaluate the culture of an organization of your choosing by using the Denison model provided below. This will include the completion of an opinion survey and some research on your organization. Internet students will be required to post their completed model as an attachment to the Discussion Board. That thread (and directions for posting an attachment) will appear later in the semester and must be completed by the due date. You should go ahead and review the Denison website listed below as well as the model and survey.

This website will explain how the survey measures specific aspects of an organization’s culture, how the model was designed, and how they define each category in the model. We will be completing the survey slightly differently than they suggest. However, it is important for you to know how they use it. Follow the directions I have given you below when you are ready to begin this assignment.
The survey
After reviewing the Denison website and watching the video from our October 7th class, complete the survey based on the organization you chose for this assignment. For each section: Answer “Yes” if you think this applies to the company you are evaluating. Answer “No” if it does not apply.

Model

The first slide is the Denison Model (slightly modified). To transfer your opinion from your survey, copy and paste the model into the Paint program on your computer. Use the spraycan to color in the number of segments you answered “Yes” to for each category (Creating Change, Core Values, Team Orientation, etc.). Each category has 5 segments to represent the 5 statements in each category on the survey. Notice the model and survey are color-coded…use the same color when you complete your model.

The second slide is an example of what your model should look like when you have completed the survey and transferred your opinion to the model.

The third slide shows you how to cut and paste the model if you need help.
Please when u do it tell me why did u put Yes or no for each question in short answers please 😀
