Using gaming technologies to aid the educational process of dyslexic children in primary schools in Saudi Arabia

Look at
• What are the symptoms of dyslexia
• What the current problems dyslexic children are having in schools – when communicating / writing/ reading
• How dyslexia is currently dealt with in schools
• How can gaming methods/ multimedia help these children (look at previous research conducted)

• Look at the Saudi culture- do they support games for teaching?

• Kids indulge in games so they are resistance to this- look at ways to avoid this resistance it could come from teachers or parents (they play a lot at home you also want them to play in school? Is Culture in Saudi closed minded?)

• Look at ways to introduce/ design games that aid in learning and are not addictive (stakeholders accept it teachers school parents)

• Look at stakeholders that influence it (teachers parents policy makers in school policy makers in Saudi government)

• Look at the current Saudi curriculum and how it is currently taught

• How can gaming methods be introduced into the Saudi curriculum and what benefits it could bring

Evaluating the use of social tagging in digital library Revision

The wanted work is two chapters (chapter 5 and chapter 6) about evaluating the use of social tagging in digital library thesis. You need to analysis the survey responds which are 144 responds by using SPSS (please increase from 148 to 175 responds) and then add to them at least 20 interview (Please do that by yourself) analyses to support the evidence that social tags is an important element needs to be taken in consideration and included in any digital library system in e-learning environment.
You will find enclosed 148 responds (please increase it from 144 to 175 responds)of the survey but the interview you need to make it by yourself. Any editing or adding to the work that suite the search and making it more valuable are more than welcome.
You will find original responds in Excel file.
Please note that the chapter 5 contain that:

Dangers of Technology

Answer the following questions:

1. Find a case involving social engineering. Be sure to explain the case. In this day and age do you believe people still become a victim of social engineering?

2. Identify and describe four types of countermeasures that can be used to enhance computer security.

3. What is cyberstalking? Research the Megan Meier case. Do you agree with the ruling? Do you think that they should have used the below laws to prosecute Drew?
• At the time of the Megan Meier suicide, the state of Missouri had the below laws:
o SB 0758 – Revises Law Relating to Computer Crimes
o 565.090 – Includes reference to communications by any means in crime of harassment.
o 565.225 – Revises definition of “credible threat” relating to crime of stalking to include certain written, electronic or telephonic communications, or certain postings of a site or message.
o SB 0070 and SB 255 – Prohibits certain fraudulent use of the Internet effective August 28, 2001
o SCS/SBs 70 & 255 – This act prohibits a person from operating an Internet website which causes another person’s computer to dial a telephone number for which a charge is assessed without the other person’s consent. A violation is a Class A misdemeanor unless the long distance charges exceed five hundred dollars, in which case the violation is a Class C felony. The act provides for venue where the victim resides or where the crime occurred. This portion of the act is similar to SB 70.

4. Can you become a victim of cyberstalking without using technology?

Agile in the organization

Consider agile programming in Information Technology and Agile Enterprises.
How can you apply event techniques: SCRUM (research this on the Internet), and Governance? Hint-use practical example.
Identify how these approaches can foster agility, promote innovation, and deliver the improvements that provide benefits to all stakeholders in an organization.
Apply your ideas to a general organization – NOT Information Technology.
Provide a Word document, use formal business writing (not APA), but do include a title page, double spacing, an introduction and a conclusion. Do cite all of your sources and provide references that comply with APA 6th ed.
Your net content should exceed 2 pages of quality writing. Diagrams and tables are welcome.

Advanced Database Technologies

¬Online Ordering Process for Active Bicycle Company:

The process begins when a customer submits an online order form to Active Bicycle via the Web. The customer supplies hisor her name, address, email address, model number of the bicycle they desire, and credit card number.

When the customer clicks on the submit button on the Web page, Active Bicycle’s system gets approval for the transaction from the credit card company. If the credit charge is approved, the system assigns a number to the sales order, displays an order summary for the customer to print, and sends a confirmation email to the customer. If the credit charge is denied, the customer is asked to provide a different form of payment.

The system then generates a two-part invoice, a stock release form, and a two-part packing slip form. The stock release form is sent to the warehouse department, and the two-part packing slip and one copy of the invoice are sent to the shipping department. The other copy of the invoice is maintained in a holding file in the accounting department to be filled later with the shipping certificate.

In the warehouse, employees use the stock release form to pull the appropriate inventory to fill the order. Assuming there is enough stock (for the purposes of this exercise you can assume there is enough stock), the bicycle is packed into a special box for shipping, with added protection so it will not be damaged in transit. Using the stock release form, the warehouse clerk also must take the information from the stock release form and manually fill out a shipping certificate, which is set to the accounting department for a further check that the items are being released from the warehouse. The boxed inventory, along with the packaging lip, is then sent to the shipping department.

In the shipping department, one copy of the two-part packing slip is placed in the shipping department’s file cabinet, and one is included with the goods to be sent to the customer.

Back in the Accounting Department, the shipping certificate is matched with the copy of the invoice, and the accounting database is updated to record the completion of the order. The accounting program then submits a payment request to the credit card company and both the shipping certificate and the invoice are filed in the accounting office,

Task A

Option A: Use a process modeling notation like UML Activity Diagrams to model the process previously described. It is important to provide an accurate model of the process. This model will be used for further analysis.

Option B: Alternatively you can provide a real process model from your work environment or industry. However before you committing any time analyzing the process you must OBTAIN APPROVAL from your instructor.
Task B

Use the process designed in Task A. Design a process behavior chart to measure the performance of the process for any variable you think is suitable. For example one variable that might be necessary to monitor in the above case could be “on time product deliveries”. The following items are required:
a) You need to provide data for a period of at least six months.
b) Based on the data provided design a process behavior chart.
c) Based on the chart you have designed provide a detailed interpretation of the data presented to you by the process behavior chart.
Task C

You are working as the senior BI Analyst for the Active Bicycle Company (or for another company if a different process model has been adapted). You have been assigned to produce accurate estimations of the process time and process cost. It is important that you make rational and realistic assumptions about the time required for each activity to complete and the salaries an organization needs to pay for supporting these activities. As part of this endeavor you need to produce the following estimations:
1. Process activity & Cycle time
2. Annual volume of awards
3. FTE for all the employes envolved in the process
4. Total Labor cost
Task D

Study carefully the process described in the script. Identify at least 2 important Key performance Indicators. For each indicator identified:
1. Identify the Balance Scorecard Perspective
2. Identify the type of KPI (lagging, leading)
3. Provide data for a period of six months.
4. Design and implement a suitable dashboard that includes charts, indicators and gauges to facilitate management decision-making. You can use the online system to do dashboard this is website: (https://app.clicdata.com/v/Cwv7ycCDiwn).
You should have all of these criteria:

The Effects of Social Networking on Wellbeing

Recently, there has been a huge growth in the number of social psychological studies examining the use of Facebook and other social networking platforms. Taking a social psychological perspective, please review at least 3 empirical studies (that is, those that collect data) to draw a conclusion about whether social networking, generally, or Facebook, specifically, is beneficial or detrimental to participants (for example, to their well-being, loneliness, social awareness, etc.). In doing so, please summarize the methods and results of each of the studies that you review
