Theories of Freidman and Carroll

Compare the theories of Freidman and Carroll, and create a PowerPoint presentation on your

comparative study. Your PowerPoint presentation should include the following elements:

Slide 1: Title page – Slide 2: Table of content or objective slide – Slide 3: A summary of Milton

Friedman’s main points – Slide 4: A summary ofArchie Carroll’s main points – Slide 5: The principles you
would like implemented at your current place of work (or where you wish to work in the future), and why 5

Please ensure that every slide has a title at the top explaining what the slide covers. Add citations in
properAPA format, use applicable pictures or graphics (with citations), use a slide template, and avoid

wordy slides by focusing on bullet points. Remember, this is an academic presentation.

These questions are informal writing and can be something related to any personal life. But can you do it as if you were an older person trying to accomplish a college degree and also taking into consideration the heavy burden in taking care of the family at the same time?
1- Identify and describe one personal stressor to focus on for the rest of your journal entries
2- Write about why you picked this stressor, and what you would like to change
3- Describe how you experience this stress physically, psychologically, spiritually, socially, etc.

Video #1: Relationship between Aging and Spirituality

Health Care
You work for LAR Ambulance, which is private ambulance providing EMS 911 response as the primary care providers in a rural county and urgent and non-urgent transport of patients from one hospital or care center to another. You have three ambulances in all to provide coverage of the county. Each staffed by one paramedic and one EMT/AEMT. The county is large and rural and transport times are often 20-30 minutes. There is one hospital in the county and two in neighboring counties that are often the closest from the scene.

Protocols say that all “chest pain” and possible “heart condition” patients be placed on a 12-lead monitor as soon as possible and the EKG transmitted to the hospital while in transport. You have received complaints from the hospital that they frequently do not receive the EKG until just before the ambulance or it is not sent prior to arrival. Upon evaluation it is found that it is a problem and occurs 45 to 50% of the time with these patients.

1. List your agency, 4 segments of your target audience and 5 stakeholders.

2 Using interviews, surveys, meetings and focus groups, briefly describe how you will gather needs, wants, barriers and supports from each of the three groups in question one.

3. In looking at your target audience, list 4 each (total of 12) of their predisposing reinforcing and enabling factors and rank them in the 4 square matrix. Be sure to identify if they are a P, R or E and positive or negative.

4. List one goal and 4 objectives for your program. Format the objectives properly.

5. List 5 persons of influence for this program in each category (formal. and informal) that you would seek buy-in from.

6. Briefly describe two each, policy, environmental and educational interventions for this program.

7. Create a logic model for the educational interventions,

8. Create a PERT Chart for your environmental interventions.

9. Create the expense side of a budget for your environmental interventions.

10. Describe your process evaluation for this project.

•Think about the last time you needed to work in a small group. What was it you were supposed to do, a project, an activity, plan an

event, solve a problem, etc.? Was the end result of your working together productive or unproductive? Why do you think this was so? Were

you the leader of the group? If not, could you tell who the group leader was? How? Did the direction the group took in terms of completing

the task align with how you thought the task should be completed? Why or why not?

Internship Reflective Paper

 

One of the most useful tools in your learning is to reflect on your actual experience and integrate this into your personal growth as an education

professional.
Now that you have completed your internship, reflect on the following questions.

1. What were your responsibilities at your site? Did you think you were prepared to manage them?
2. What were the positive and negative aspects of your internship?
3. What impact did the internship have on your personal philosophy of education?

Visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website (www.nhtsa.gov) and conduct research on the impact of impaired drivers on

society. Write a three page essay on your findings including relevant statistics.
-Maybe a good time to speak to or talk about DUI-Drugs related to the current trend of legalizing marijuana for recreational and medicinal use

in some states?
-The NHTSA website and others such as MADD (www.madd.org) are chock full of information on this topic. Explore other statistics. Maybe a good

time to talk about DUI-Drugs and states that have legalized marijuana for medicinal and recreational purposes?
-Please have a good thesis statement in the introduction paragraph.

 

Assignment 2: Virtualize?
Imagine you are a senior systems administrator who has been tasked with considering whether or not to implement server virtualization into your

organization’s computing operations of multiple sites with a server count of more than 400.
Write a two to three (2-3) page paper in which you:
1. Specify the most significant advantages and disadvantages that could be realized by the organization in adopting a server virtualization

infrastructure.
2. Prepare a plan for implementing Hyper-V (or an alternate solution, such as VMware) as a solution for your organization. Provide a rationale for the

plan decisions.
3. Determine the strategy you would use to explain the concepts of server virtualization to senior management so that they understand the concepts and

can form an opinion on the solution. Provide a rationale for using your chosen strategy.
4. Based on your plan for implementation and the specifics of the organization of which you are aware, determine whether or not you should move forward

with the implementation of a virtual infrastructure. Justify your response.
