Option # 1:
Guidelines for Cultural Diversity Paper
Students will need to interview a person of a different race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation to complete part of this assignment. The paper consists of three parts. In Part I, the student interviews a client using a standard cultural assessment tool (minimum 3–5 pages). In Part II, the student must submit a typed analysis of the client’s diversity supported with in-text references citations (minimum 3 – 4 pages). In Part III, the student must submit…a personal reflection of how this knowledge might influence their nursing care with persons from different cultures (minimum 2 pages). Part IV: The student must submit an analysis of the key nursing role they would assume to meet this patient’s healthcare needs and how they would assess the opportunities and challenges of that role (minimum of 3 pages). Students will also incorporate identify the varying healthcare providers that will be contributing to the patient’s wellness program and develop strategies to promote high quality Interprofessional communication to achieve the intended positive patient outcomes. The paper should follow strict APA format, being mindful of the penalties for plagiarism.

i. Tempel Anneke answers all of the questions asked about the accusations being made against her under torture.
ii. She provides answers which the council would find to be a confession.
II. Confessions Without Torture
a. Folio 41 – “Voluntary” Confession
i. The interrogators are provided with the questions to ask Tempel Anneke
ii. The goal is to obtain a confession from her without the application of torture.
b. Folio 42 – Confession from the University of Jena
i. Discusses everything Anneke has confessed to
ii. If this confession matches the confession she will give in front of the supreme capital, she will be sentenced to death by fire.
c. Confession Answers
i. Tempel Anneke sticks to her original answers and confesses to the accusations being put on her.
ii. Anneke answers “yes” to all of their questions, giving the council what they want to hear.

Final Project Submission: Healthcare Delivery Systems Research Paper

The 2000 Institute of Medicine (IOM) report To Err is Human was a call to arms for the U.S. healthcare delivery system. It emphasized the need to explore the
processes, structure, and outcomes related to the quality of care provided to individuals in our society. For your final project, you will research a gap in access to
quality, equity, or efficiency of care (including existing initiatives in place to address the gap and economic and regulatory factors that are currently in place to
address the gap).
Access to care includes access to health insurance coverage, access to services and providers, and timeliness of the care received. All three of these components
impact quality of care. Access can also include affordability. The quality of the care people receive in the healthcare system should not vary based upon their
socioeconomic status.
For your final project, you will select a healthcare delivery process gap and the population affected from the list below. Then, you will develop a healthcare
delivery systems research paper.
• Option One: A gap in quality related to care coordination for individuals with chronic illnesses
• Option Two: A gap in equity related to mental health access for veterans
• Option Three: A gap in efficiency related to rising cost of pharmaceuticals for the aging population
This assessment addresses the following course outcomes:
• Draw connections between current healthcare delivery systems and the context in which they were developed
• Describe the impact of economic and regulatory drivers on healthcare delivery systems
• Identify major gaps in access to healthcare for determining areas of opportunity for improved access to quality healthcare
• Explain initiatives targeted at maintaining or improving the health status of specific populations

Overview
Assessment is the critical first step of the teaching-learning process.
In Unit 4, you learn about assessment, the foundation of the teaching-learning process. Assessment plays a vital role in health teaching. It involves

gathering information about the learner, the teacher and the resources available to enhance both teaching and learning. Once these data are assembled, the

teacher, often in consultation with the learner, makes a judgment about what needs to be taught, what can be taught, and how it should be taught.
When a teaching opportunity presents itself in a health care situation, the assessment process often takes place spontaneously. Conversely, assessment may

be a deliberate process, as in a planned teaching program for new diabetics. The key point is that teaching is individualized accounting for the unique

qualities of the teacher and learner and on what resources, including interdisciplinary team members, are available.

Criminal Justice
There are police departments in the United States who will investigate an officer involved shooting involving one of their own officers. Other

departments, such as a city or sheriff department who have an officer involved shooting, will have the state police in their state investigate

an officer involved shooting. How would someone who believes in the ethical system of ethical formalism decide on if a department should

investigate one of their own, or hand off the investigation to another department? Whose duty should it be to investigate an officer involved

shooting? Some have called for the Department of Justice to form a review board in the federal government, where all officer involved shootings

would be reviewed and decided upon? If there are some in the U.S. who do not trust police departments to investigate their own, should they

respect these views or stand firm and state that they have high ethical standards and are able to investigate one of their own? Finally, if you
