Seven habits profile

Seven habits profile
Specific assignment:

There are two sections with subparts to the sections for this project.

Section 1

You are to take the self-scoring seven habits profile (I have completed the document and included it). You are to reflect on what the results might mean

about your leadership style. Reflect on all nine categories. Be descriptive and provide examples.

I took the self scoring seven habits profile, and I included it with the references. My scores averaged from fair to very good. My weaknesses should be

considered in the fair range. Discuss how I can improve them. Also you can discuss what an interesting self-assessment the seven habits profile is.

This section should be 3 pages long.

Section 2 (this section has several parts to it)

In this section, you will evaluate strengths and weaknesses noted on the self-scoring seven habits profile and use a leadership theory.

Please use only the Transactional Management Theory throughout this section. It is very important that only 1 theory is used, and I would like

Transactional ManagementTheory only be used.

Part A: evaluate 3 strengths you demonstrate as a leader using the leadership theory that you have chosen. My strengths on the seven habits profile are

in the 4 and 5 range which is good and very good.

This part should be 2 pages long.

Part B: evaluate 3 weaknesses you demonstrate as a leader as noted on the self-scoring seven habits profile. My weaknesses are the things in the fair

range which is rated as 3 on the profile.

This part should be 2 pages long.

Part C: in this part, you need to look forward and plan for your development as a leader. Recommend 3 specific actions that would help you maximize your

success in managing organizations and leading people. Your recommendations will address your leadership weaknesses. For this part, just discuss the

actions that I can take to improve my weaknesses.

For each recommendation include the following:
1) recommendation and supporting theory
2) the performance gap the recommendation will address
3) the outcome of putting the recommendation interaction.

This section should be 2 pages
Include at least three scholarly sources to support leadership strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations.

Part D: in this part you will set SMART goals for yourself. Goal setting helps break down a larger initiative into manageable accomplishments. Identify

2 skills, behaviors, or practices you would like to master in the next month. Take those two goals and apply SMART criteria. These goals must be

leadership development goals. Remember that SMART is an acronym that stands for specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time bound.

You will need to discuss at least two specific actions you will take to reach each of the Smart goals discussed in Part D.

This section should be 2 pages long.

Here is a shorter general outline of what I will need.

Section1:
Reflect on the self-scoring seven habits profile. 3 pages long

Section 2:
A: reflect on strengths that the seven habits profile demonstrated for you. 2 pages long.

B. reflect on 3 weaknesses you demonstrate as noted on the self-scoring seven habits profile. This part should be 2 pages long.

C. 3 specific actions that would help you maximize your success in managing organizations and leading people.
2 pages

Part D: set SMART goals. Identify 2 skills, behaviors, or practices you would like to master in the next month. Remember that SMART is an acronym that

stands for specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time bound.
This section should be 2 pages long.

Total number of pages: total 11-pages

Number of references: I have included references for your convenience. Please use only the references that I have provided. If for some reason you find

these references ineffective, please use only primary from refereed journals within the last five years. This requirement is essential for this

assignment.

Evaluation of deficiencies for OSHA VPP

Unit III ScholarlyActivity
You were recently hired as an Occupational Safety and Health consultant for Gemstone Fabricators, which is a medium sized manufacturing facility that makes stainless steel counters, containers, and carts for the food prep and restaurant industries. Several years ago, Gemstone decided it wanted to become an OSHA VPP site. It also wants to send the application to OSHA in the upcoming year. Further, there is a keen interest to align with the ANSI/AIHA Z10 standard.
In going through the application submission materials, you noticed something that threw up a red flag, however. Although there was an accountability requirement specified in front-line workers’ performance evaluation documentation for safety performance, there was no such requirement in the performance evaluation documentation for supervisors, managers, or executives. Your discussions with employees also suggest that, although the employer wants the front-line workers to be heavily involved in the safety effort, they are not always sure exactly what they are supposed to be doing to help move the company’s safety programs forward.
Another issue that concerns you is that the effort to implement a safety and health management systems approach appears to be somewhat piecemeal. You are finding it difficult to identify a clear Plan-Do-Check-Act approach to continuous improvement.
Please compose a two-page document for your client to include your evaluation of these deficiencies along with an explanation of the significance of these problems in relation to the safety and health management systems approach. Your goal is to help the employer understand why these issues need to be attended to prior to submitting your application. In your response, be sure to do the following things:
• Include an introduction that establishes the issues and provides necessary background information.
• Assess the importance of establishing safety accountability measures for managers, employees, and safety professionals.
• Appraise the assignment of safety-related job tasks.
• Apply the Plan-Do-Check-Act framework to resolve a safety deficiency.

Your paper must be a minimum of two pages, and it should be in APA format. You must use a minimum of one scholarly resource. Any information from this source should be cited and referenced in accordance with APA guidelines. Information about accessing the grading rubric for this assignment is provided below.

Youth Experience

After reading the “Benefits of Youth Sports”, what will your team or sports organization philosophy be? What is your vision for the team, and what actions will take place through your coaching tactics to ensure your vision is communicated? What will be the goal for your team/organization? How will you communicate that goal to your players?
Youth Experience
For quite some time I have been a fun of watching games and I developed the interest to learn more about the motivation behind the cricket game. At my tender age, I used to play football, but as for now, I’m a good player in cricket. It was in 2013, I finally got the chance to coach the under 13 cricket team of my high school. I had time and shared words with my former cricket coach concerning the factors which motivated me to become a trainer in this field after graduating. This essay looks into the reasons as to why one gets involved in cricket game as a coach and the driving force to this match.
The primary factor which pulls many people to the game of cricket to be either fans or coaches is to keep them busy and avoid idling which can result to indulging into evil activities. I decided to start coaching cricket as a leisure activity. Since I was young, I used to enjoy watching cricket game more than any other match. Being a coach in this field was one thing that was to make me unique in the society regarding the profession. Also, I got the chance to gain paramount knowledge, in that not many people who play cricket and at the same time, cricket coaches are rare. Among the motivational factors which can make one verge into cricket game training is the payment. Coaches are few as compared to football ones. This will mean a huge pay for them and honor. The coaching skills applied in cricket involve much of the time communicate with players, and this creates much socialization. Knowing that I had competent skills enough to coach a team and compete in local level, was the key point of motivation as I wanted to exercise this
Just like any other field of coaching, we have ups and downs. The point of downs in coaching cricket game is insufficient funding from the government. This game is not valued like football which is highly funded and has many fans. Lack of fans can be a demoralizing factor to those willing to join this game as trainees. The advantage of winning these game competition is easy for the serious competitors as many don’t concentrate so much on it thus less preparation.
We can say that the reasons for becoming a cricket coach are surrounded by a one’s personal interests. First, you will earn, and again you can venture into places which could otherwise not be possible to go. To end this essay, coaching cricket is like a hobby to many, despite the challenges one faces through.

Research Paper
This project will require you to write the abstract, introduction (including at least 2 hypothesis) and literature review section of a research paper.

The paper must include a review of 10 or more journal articles related to a psychological hypothesis you select. Journal articles must be current

(within the last 10 years) and be from peer-reviewed journals. The completed paper must be 10 page typed paper (12-point font, double space, 1”

margins on all sides) following APA style guidelines. The format should consist of:
B) Abstract page:
1. Statement of the issue
2. Brief research question and hypothesis
C) Introduction and Literature Review:: 10 pages
1. 1-Statement of the research topic and its importance
2. 2- Summarize the past research; A narrative section discussing the hypothesis, article’s summary and analysis, and research conclusions.

Finish with the following:
• Rationale for and overview of the proposed study
• Research questions or hypotheses
The purpose of Section C is to:
(a) describe the purpose of the study (b) place the study in the context of previous research on the topic (c) justify your hypotheses Each paragraph

of the introduction should bring the reader closer to understanding why the study was done and what hypotheses you are making. The first paragraph of

the Introduction should introduce the general topic of study. Do not begin too generally, but do not begin too specifically either. Be sure to define

any terms you are using that are specific to the field of study. Indicate your operation definitions. In subsequent paragraphs you should be building

a case for your study. Explain what has been found in previous research on this topic, describe what gap exists in this literature, and explain how

your study will fill the gap. Towards the end of your introduction, briefly review the justification for your hypotheses. Do not simply state your

hypothesis and assume the reader will know why you are making them.

Establishing My Academic and Career Path

As you begin the transition from academic courses to career opportunities, reflect on how the strategies already discussed can help to guide you

through the process. Consider the degree path you have chosen and what additional skills or activities you should engage in beyond the academic

learning in your courses to be successful. What initiatives and goals do you have for this career? Begin and continue to establish your academic

journey and career goals.

Individual courses within the program will offer opportunities through assignments that develop particular skills pertinent to specific career

requirements and transfer of acquired knowledge. Other courses and specific assignments such as interview, practicum, and capstone projects provide

opportunities for students to be exposed to relevant problems and creative activities in health care. These opportunities will require students to

apply techniques acquired from the classroom to active investigation with experienced mentors in the field.

Research where to find career openings in your chosen field, select a position you might be interested in, and identify the qualifications and

experience required. Identify these requirements as you progress through the coursework provided in your program. Take initiative to inquire and

explore as you make connections with your coursework and career goals. Some items to consider further are membership in a professional association, the

use of Internet job boards for research into future trends, licensure compliance throughout the country/world, and occupational conditions such as

location, shifts worked, required equipment, or safety standards.

Listed below are some suggestions related to the types of information that you may want to include in this section of the document:
1) Who? Who would make up my network (e.g., peers, instructors, professionals, colleagues) essential to success in my chosen field in relation to

this particular course?
2) What? What are my findings from researching competencies and/or certification requirements for my specific job role in relation to this course?
3) When? When should I begin to make the connection between my course of study and my career goals?
4) Where? Where does this course fit in my career goals? Where could I schedule an interview or internship to bridge the theory in my course with

the practice of a job in the field?
5) Why?Why are peer-reviewed articles important and what is the significance of them in a career in health care?
6) How? How does this course relate to the requirements of my career goals? How can I make a link between the course and career experience that I

need?

Focus on the concepts and skills learned from this course and spend time reflecting on Who, What, When, Where, Why or How, in establishing your

academic and career path. Examples are given below. The table will continue to expand as you progress through the course.

Ethical Decision Making in Difficult Situations

(Ethics slp 2).
Ethical Decisions in the Workplace
After reading your background readings, please review the following scenario and address the questions at the end.
Jerry Stevens heads up an excavation crew for the municipal utilities district in a city in Nebraska. A sewer line needs to be replaced and it has

been excavated with a back-hoe. The trench is 7 feet deep. The municipality’s safety rules indicate that employees should not go into the trench

without a trench box. This rule is to prevent employees from being buried if the trench walls collapse. People die every year from trench cave-ins.
The trench box won’t arrive on site for another 6 hours and the city promised residents that the sewer would be fixed by the end of the day, which

now seems impossible. The City Administrator called Jerry on his cell phone and indicated that it was imperative that the sewer be fixed as soon as

conceivably possible because a City Council member is served by that sewer line and will raise a fuss if it’s not fixed by the promised time.
One of the more experienced workers states, “It’s only going to take 30 minutes to dig under the pipe and loosen the fittings. We don’t need the

trench box. We used to do this all the time before we were required to use one of those darn things.”
Jerry knows he’s right. He used to do it himself before the rule was put in place. Also, the soil is clearly a cohesive soil and it’s highly

unlikely that it will collapse. And although there is an organizational policy to use a trench box for trenches deeper than 5 feet, the Occupational

Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) does not have
Jurisdiction over municipalities in Nebraska because municipalities are political subdivisions of the State. The only entity regulating safety

policies is the City’s Safety Director and he took the day off.
1. In this scenario, to what extent do you think allowing the crew into the trench without a trench box would be pushing (or exceeding) the limit?
2. Discuss any ethical grey areas in this scenario?
3. What in your mind is the right thing to do?
4. What is the value of having an ethics program (and related programs like safety programs) and what are the responsibilities of front line

leaders/supervisors and the workers when they face dilemmas such as the one described?
SLP Assignment Expectations
Please take some time to review the materials and take a position on the issue. Write a 2 full page assessment of the authors’ claims, and your
