Critical Literature Review & Content Analysis: please analyse the annotated bibliography and relate the critical literature review to this.
I will undertake a critical literature review
Surveys: In the proposal it was stated that surveys will be conducted with a sample population of 70 people, to gather information. There will be division of the study population into four groups on basis of the hours each person spends on social networks, their gender and their age. The surveys will include questions on how a person feels about his/her self image, his/her weight and his/her identity and if he/she feels that social media networks affects their perception of himself/herself. Please use these survey findings and come to a consensus of whether social media influences the rise of eating disorders.

Poll taking: The research will also include a poll taking to establish if the individuals agree or disagree that social media contributes to the increase in eating disorders. Please establish poll findings and evaluate whether this leads to social media contributing to the increase in eating disorders.

It is also a requirement to also talk about ” the embodied media and the quantified self”

This means that nowadays, media studies has examined representations of bodies in cultural texts such as magazines or movies, and asked how they reproduce dominant myths of gender, beauty, race and so forth. New technologies such as smart phones and self-tracking health apps are radically challenging this approach. They ask us to look at technology as an extension, augmentation or prosthesis of the body.

So make you answer: How can we critically conceptualise the embodied nature of media technologies? ( relating to my question of course)

The biggest thing is answering all these questions but more so… how can we learn from this question? is media influencing the way we think about our bodies? is there a way for change?

But also remembering that the research paper relates to the idea of whether social media contributes to the rise of eating disorders and all theories concepts and research methods should relate to this.

Please find a way to have a refined short main topic and a proposal related to Humanitarian aid – international cooperation combined with international humanitarian law legal issues. The framework and the main topic of the proposal should be drafted and contained within the following explained Terms of Reference.

Terms of Reference: Civil liability in medical missions
Whether due to emergency situations or a lack of specialized personnel or means, doctors or health personnel working in cooperation are often exposed to extreme situations in which they assume great responsibilities and even apply treatments outside of their particular speciality.

Most extramural missions or mobile health units conducted by humanitarian organizations are aimed at health promotion and prevention, including providing consultations, giving talks and referring cases that require further attention to a health centre.

But what happens when a situation is so urgent and serious that the health personnel do things that were not planned and that could definitely become problems of legal responsibility?

The professional ethical-deontological code, the Hippocratic Oath, has to be taken into account. In other words, while one has to think about the patient, one’s own personal safety also has to be considered if there are any problems

what happens if the intervention results in a complication?
what happens if a dentist is the only person available to do stitches?
Who bears the liability? The doctor? The humanitarian organization promoting the medical mission?
Does the insurance respond in such situations? And what if there is no insurance?
Do the doctors’ civil liability insurance policies have world coverage? And do they cover interventions outside of a doctor’s specialty?
Where are the professional limits? What is the right way to act?
If a complication emerges, should the emphasis be on thinking about the patient or the possible liability?

Based on your proposed organization and structure for the GAH and the Community Clinic, we will now focus on additional aspects pertaining to:

1. Quality control and Accreditation:
Define at least five core organizational competencies and functions for the new organization, and define a goal/objective for them.
Propose a control method/score board to be implemented in the new organization to ensure that said core competencies and functions are meeting their goals and objectives.

2. Ethical Issues – HIPAA
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA, Title II) required the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to establish national standards for electronic health care transactions and national identifiers for providers, health plans, and employers. It also addressed the security and privacy of health data. As the industry adopts these standards for the efficiency and effectiveness of the nation’s healthcare system, the use of electronic data interchange will improve.
3.IT Systems
Based on your proposed project’s organizational structure and the geographical locations of Mission Hospital, Golden Age Hospital and the Community Clinic, recommend the major components of an IT system that can best provide for the communication needs within and between the organisation units.
