Summary:
Apply what you have learned about communication, teamwork and collaboration by reviewing the following publications. Reflect on your personal commitment to communication, teamwork and collaboration and guiding your work environment to be successful in these areas.

I work for the VA hospital in San Diego, on the Spinal Cord Injury Unit. Unfortunately I do not have time to complete this assignment. In regards to LGBT, we implement the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. We don’t really have many female patients, and the male veterans do not discuss their sexuality preference. If they were gay, I wouldn’t know. Also, all of the staff respectfully treats all patients the same without bias.

If you need more information or need me to fill out the questionnaires please contact me at 619-905-5538. I really do not care how the questionnaires are filled out as my professor does not know my hospital and doesn’t care.

Writer’s choice (preferably a topic in Communications since that is my major)

Topic: Writer’s choice (preferably a topic in Communications since that is my major)

This is a liberal arts Capstone research paper. Topic is open but my major is

Communications, so would prefer something in that field. It needs to be a minimum of 25

pages, excluding cover and references (must be in APA format). I am thinking 35 pages

should be good.

The course requires 5 chapters/modules and each to be submitted seperately. The first

deadline is 12/20, and it is for the topic proposal.
I would like this one done first in the next few days and once I feel comfortable with

the work and adherence to the provided instructions, I will place the orders for each

subsequent chapters. The 6th and final submission will be for the complete paper due in

2 months. So I will be returning to the same writer to complete the full paper.

Here is the main overview from the syllabus. I will upload the full syllabus once I

submit my order.

Course Structure:

Liberal Arts Capstone consists of six (6) modules. Modules include the study

assignments and written assignments. Study assignments consist primarily of readings in

the course textbook(s) and in the Articles folder on the course Web site. Module titles

are listed below.
• Module 1: Capstone Topic Selection and Draft of Chapter 1 (Introductory Chapter)
• Module 2: Draft of Chapter 2 (Literature Review and Annotated References)
• Module 3: Research Design and Draft of Chapter 3 (Methodology)
• Module 4: Results of the Study
• Module 5: Summary and Discussion
• Module 6: Putting it All Together: Finalizing and Submitting Your Capstone Project
The first assignment is:
Written Assignment 1: Draft of Chapter 1

Fromm the syllabus you can find:
• Overview of course and capstone project: pages 3 – 9
• *** INSTRUCTIONS FOR FIRST ASSIGNMENT: pages 18 – 20 ***
Firstly, I would like 3 topics sent to me.
I will be able to respond right away.
Once I select the topic from the list, the writer can proceed with Module 1.
I am looking for all this to happen in 3 days from order placement.

Please contact me more with any questions.

Communication Digital Paper

For a 24 hour period, record the amount of digital media technologies that you use. Keep a log of your cell phone usage, text messaging, television viewing, online activity, etc. These can be rough measures, such as “12:00 PM spent 20 minutes on Facebook. 1:00 PM sent 10 text messages to my friend Janet” etc. I would carry a piece of paper around with me and make a note every time I used one of these technologies. I know that recording every single text message or facebook post would take all day; a rough estimate should suffice.
In the paper, I would like you to reflect on this digital activity. In the first part of the paper, describe all of the various media that you used and for what purposes (in a narrative, not a bullet point list please). In the second part, critique that usage, perhaps through the following questions: What do you think your life would be like without these digital media? How would your social life change? How would you follow events in the world without digital media? In what ways might your life be improved if you gave up digital media, do you think? The key here is to think critically about something you probably take for granted.
Use at least three course concepts in your analysis.
The paper should be at least three full pages long, typed and double spaced with standard one inch margins and no larger than 12 point font. Include a separate cover page (do not use a header with your name, etc. at the top of the paper to eat up space). References to material from the textbook should be parenthetically cited in your paper with the page number. Papers with significant typographical or grammatical errors will receive poor grades. Only by editing your paper will you able to meet this requirement.
You will be graded on the cogency of your reflexive analysis, the organizational structure of your paper, your prose and grammar, and your ability to conform to the requirements of the assignment in terms of paper length and utilization of concepts.

Communications and Human services

For this assignment, you have to take on the role of a human services administrator charged by the Department of Health with the responsibility of communicating to various constituencies about the recent outbreak of a communicable disease within a specific community. You will now need to write three communication messages appropriate to the following groups—youths, parents, and medical staff—one communication message per group.

Part A

Part A: Analysis Plan

Explain what media and forms of communication (at least one of which will be verbal) you would employ to communicate with each group—youths, parents, and medical staff—that will be most effective with these audiences.
Identify two to three conflicts that could potentially arise with any one of the constituents and the strategies you would employ to resolve the conflicts.
Prioritize and explain the most pertinent aspects of the message to be conveyed to each group.

Part B: Communication Memos

Compose in detail three different communication messages that appropriately match each group of recipients—youths, parents, and medical staff—regarding the recent outbreak of the communicable disease. One of the messages should be a script for a verbal communication. Consider the following aspects when composing your messages—the recipient, the context, the content, and delivery variables.

Part C: Application of Theory

Explain which communication theories you applied to the situation that influenced your approach to handling this problem.
