design of an automated flexible manufacturing system

I need a case study for the manufacturing of car rims. the project is formed of two parts, a project scope and the main report. I will attach a file that shows exactly what is needed. I also need the report to have detailed information on each step in the system. the project scope must be like a summary of the things in the main report, it is explained more in the attached file. please follow the attached file thoroughly and completely. in the end of the report, the writer must divide the work to 3 parts, one for each student because this is a group project. the word count should not exceed 4500.

This case study will outline the Status of the fish, the (Socio)Economic Impact of the fish, the Environmental Impact of the fish, and your own Assessment of the likelihood of the Fish’s Population Stability and what must be done to Manage the Species.

you are NOT limited to the sections or questions outlined below; however, each section outlined below must appear in some form within your paper.

a. Status of Fish – What are the historical and current populations of the fish? Why does it need to be managed (why do people fish for this species)?

b. (Socio)Economic Impact of the Fish – What are the economic and, possibly, social benefits of the fish? What are the consequences to the local, national, or international economy(ies) of fluctuations (or reductions/increases) in the fish’s population? How do any economic or social impacts affect governmental or political considerations/conditions?

c. Environmental Impact of the Fish – What type of ecological communities are affected by the fish? What type of ecological communities does this fish live in? How do fluctuations (or reductions/increases) in the fish’s population affect the ecological community?

d. Species Assessment – Conclude your paper with the current status of the species, as well as any future plans for its management or stocking. In this section, I will be looking specifically for how you have integrated the knowledge from your cited sources. You should demonstrate that you have reached conclusions based on joining together information, not only what another group or person concluded.

You must include a minimum of 5, maximum of 10, citable resources. A maximum of 2 resources can be ‘only web-based’

Case Study Assignment on Sexuality

Explanation: This assignment is meant to help you reflect on class readings/concepts/theories. You will
apply these concepts to real world situations, ultimately enhancing your understanding of course concepts
and of the social world. The assignment also aims to help you refine your written analytical skills.
Instructions: Throughout the term, we will provide case studies for each major topic (class inequality,
race, gender, sexuality, family, deviance/crime, human & non-human animals, the body and suffering).
These case studies will come from a variety of sources (news, popular media, etc.); all of the case studies
offer you an opportunity to consider how sociology plays out in real life. Alternatively, you can propose
your own topic (make sure you get GSI approval!).
1) You are expected to complete five case study analysis papers by the end of the semester; you can
choose which five you’d like to write about. (Note: only one paper is allowed per week, so plan
ahead!)
2) Your paper should explicitly reference at least two readings or lectures; however, an excellent
paper offers something new, rather than simply regurgitating facts/ideas from lecture. Be sure to
use ASA or APA style citations.
3) An excellent paper does more than just state your opinion. Consider multiple perspectives, or
synthesize material across weeks. (For example, perhaps you see an opportunity to connect Karl
Marx’s theories to your analysis of non-human animals.) Perhaps you can propose a solution to a
social problem.
Formatting: Analysis papers should be two pages double-spaced, use 11- or 12-point font, and have
standard 1” margins. Include your name, section number, and the topic at the top of the page. (You can
put this information in a header if you need the full two pages.)
Due: Due dates are indicated on the list of case studies, posted on our section’s CTools site.
Grading: I will evaluate your papers using the following rubric. Each response has 10 points possible;
the five reading responses total 25% of your overall grade (as outlined in the syllabus). The rubric I will
be using is on the back of this page.

Global Solutions for Sustainability
Homework 2
1. Read the Case in Point on Hurricane Katrina on page 79 of your textbook as well as from
external resources. Then, use Google Maps to investigate the region and try to identify
hills/mountains nearby, if any are present (you may benefit from the street view function).
Based on numbers given in the text, and the prospect of more severe hurricanes due to
climate change, comment on the potential outcomes of the next hurricane, supposing it
hits in 2050. By keeping in mind the reasons why the city was built in its current location in
the first place, propose a sustainable solution to the problem.
2. Billions of barrels of oil are transported over water bodies for nations to run their
economies. Inevitably, mistakes/accidents happen and the end result may be disastrous.
a. Investigate the 1989 Alaskan oil spill through online sources. Do you think the end
result of the lawsuit was fair in terms of its societal, environmental, and economic
impacts?
b. Next, investigate the 2010 Deep Water Horizon oil spill. Do you think the end result of
the lawsuit was fair in terms of its societal, environmental, and economic impacts?
c. Further investigate the chemical dispersant used during clean-up efforts and discuss
whether it was a good decision made by BP.
d. Next, give examples of oil spills that occur outside the U.S. (i.e. internationally) and
compare the actions of affected governments/societies, and oil companies involved.
3. Read “The American Dust Bowl” on page 296 of your textbook as well as from external
resources.
a. Use a satellite imaging software (e.g. Google Earth/Maps) and explain what you see in
the affected area shown in Figure 14.11. Also, comment on how climate change is
expected to affect precipitation and temperature patterns at the same location (go back
and check the lecture on climate change).
b. Back when it happened, California was not as populated as it is today and survivors
were able to migrate at the expense of leaving everything behind. If aquifers of the
region feeding agriculture were to dry up or become contaminated, what do you think
would happen? (This is not a remote possibility when you consider slide 32 in the
‘water’ lecture slides)
c. Now suppose a similar environmental problem occurred in a different part of the world
and national boundaries prevent people from moving to neighboring states/countries.
What do you think would happen then?
4. Bangladesh had a population of a little over 150 million in 2011, and a population density
of 1046 people per square mile. 81% of its population lived on less than $2/day, after
adjusting for purchasing power. As a comparison, the U.S. population was close to 312
million in the same year, with a population density of 32 people per square mile, and
negligible (less than 0.5%) portion of the population living on less than $2/day (adjusted for
purchasing power).
2
Majority of plains in Bangladesh have elevations less than 10 m (33 ft) above sea level, and
the elevation of the coastal south is at sea level. Look at the figure on page 18 of your
textbook for per capita energy use, and hence contribution to global warming. As sea
levels rise and more frequent storms are observed in the region, it may be possible that
millions of people will become refugees.
a. Look up the term ‘climate refugee’ from Wikipedia and describe what it means in your
own words. Do you think this scenario would qualify those people as climate refugees?
b. What do you think will happen to those people who lost their homes to rising sea
levels, or cannot find food as agricultural areas are inundated with seawater?
c. While some people believe that they will be unaffected by such events occurring in
distant foreign countries, others believe that they will be directly or indirectly affected
by it. Discuss your opinion.
d. By comparing the predicted effects of climate change from previous lectures
(temperature, precipitation, agricultural yields, water etc.), identify other critical
regions/countries that may experience similar problems. (You may also benefit from the
2011 world population data sheet posted under additional readings, or the one that
came together with your textbook)

Assignment – Written Assignment Case Study Essay

Written Essay on your case study (2000 words) (40%)

—Your essay must be written in the 3rd person using academic writing and APA referencing. Your essay will be based on the issues identified in your case study. You will need a minimum of 5 other references. I would suggest you use the course readings and other material from the course site prior to looking elsewhere for relevant literature/theory to help you theorise about the issues. Remember this is a critcial reflective essay whichh means you need to consider more than one perspective to help you learn more about the thinking and practice around the issues presented in the case study.

I have had some questions on how to structure your essay using the COCR process whilst writing in the third person. Firstly you will not use the headings, however, the 4 sections should be implicit in the essay. To deconstruct you will need to identify the issues in the case study using the literature to help you unpack the issues in the case study. To confront you will use the literature to help you unpack your own thinking around the issues, as this is written in the third person you will need to use terms like…it seems that or according to…it is often thought that…this also helps you to unpack some of the ‘taken-for-granted’ notions in the thinking and practice around the particular issues in the case study. You will aslo use the literature to help you theorise about the issues – what is the current thinking and practice around these issus and what might be different. Finally you will conclude with thinking otherwise, which is based on what has been learnt and understood by doing the research (from more than one perspective) and by listening to other perspectives in the Professional Conversations.

If you need support for essay writing please use the tutorials presented in HERBIE (Health Resources Bank) and you may also want to ask for some support through student services.

Case Study Two: Joan’s family

A mother (Joan) is a single parent with two children, Jessica is 10 years old and her brother Ryan is 4 years old. Concerns about this family were first raised by the school when the children were having very poor school attendance. Despite several attempts by the school staff to encourage the children to come to school, their attendance at school continued to be very irregular. When the children did manage to attend school it was noted by their teachers that the children appeared neglected because of their unkempt appearance and seldom had any food for lunch. Ryan’s teacher also noted that Ryan was very withdrawn when he did attend school. Joan has been called in by the school a number of times but never turns up for the meetings.

The child and family liaison officer is asked to do a home visit and on his/her initial visit to the family learns that Joan has recently left a violent relationship. Her mode of coping with the separation and trauma of the violence inflicted upon her is to use alcohol in ever-increasing amounts. She is finding it increasingly difficult to provide basic care and get the children to school. Her 10-year-old daughter (Jessica) is staying up late and is acting as a companion for Joan. Jessica tells you she is finding it very difficult to get up for school and get her brother and her ready so most of the time they just don’t go. Jessica also tells you she is worried about her mother as she is scared that her father may come back and hurt her again.

Deconstruct – What is happening here? Describe the issue(s). Pull apart the thinking around the issue(s) and closely exam where the notions are coming from. Examine what may be described as ‘normal’ or the taken-for-granted notions around the issues you have described.

Confront – What challenges your thinking? Approach the issues that are challenging you head-on by examining the ideas that are accepted but rarely questioned. What assumptions might be made?

Theorise: To help you get a better understanding of the issue(s) draw on relevant theory and literature. Describe the multiple perspectives presented in the theory and literature around the issues presented in the case study.

Think Otherwise: Re-examine the thinking about the issues and discuss how you are thinking now as a result of what you have learnt by examining these issues from more than one perspective. What has changed or deepened in your thinking?

Group Case Study: Chinese Negotiation Strategies

Suppose you have been selected to represent your organization in the negotiation of a business transaction in China. Before leaving for China, you prepare yourself by learning the most widely used and accepted negotiation styles and strategies in China. You read newspaper articles and research studies on negotiation strategies. In addition, you analyze the cultural issues in China that might alter your negotiation style and affect your success or failure during the negotiation process. Answer the following questions regarding the negotiation process the Chinese use, assuming that you are in China to negotiate a business transaction:

•Name and discuss four cultural areas that will cause differences in the negotiation strategies that you and your Chinese partners use. How will you try to overcome these differences so that they do not affect the success or failure of your business negotiation?
•How would an American prepare for negotiating with the Chinese?

Please utlize three sources to include the one attached in the attachment. Writer must utlize this source with the information in it otherwise the paper will have to be rewritten.

Case Study_:

You are the hospital administrator, and this situation has been brought to your attention. The mother of a pregnant minor seeks to obtain the daughter’s medical records because she wishes to see if the daughter indicated to hospital personnel the identity of the father of her unborn child. The patient is a 12-year-old, unmarried youth who lives at home with her parents, and her parents are paying for her obstetrical care. The patient does not consent to the release of her medical records to her parents. The mother has made it known to you that she intends to sue if she does not get the records as a result of this request.

· Identify the main facts of the case. You may itemize these in a bulleted list.

· Identify any legal issues that are present, as well as the doctrines and/or duties that apply. You may itemize these in a bulleted list.

· Based on HIPAA and confidentiality laws, who provides the consent to treat this young, pregnant woman?

Week 7 Assignment Case Study

Week 7 Assignment Case Study

In this assignment you will calculate how much a loan will really cost. In step one you will compare three different loan types using a comparison calculator found on College Boards website. Then you will figure out the total loan debt for different loan types. You will choose a career path for your student and identify the starting salary to discuss how their debt level will impact their earnings. Finally you will calculate a parent PLUS loan. Prepare a report based on your findings.)

$3,500 Subsidized
$2,000 Unsubsidized
$2,000 Alternative/Private Loan. Lender is Sallie Mae, fixed rate of 5.74%, 1% in fees, 10 year repayment period

Remember that you are comparing these loans for only one year. The family will need to consider their borrowing for all four years. Keeping in mind the students you are currently working with (or want to work with) what kind of discussion would you have with the student and parents regarding borrowing and debt? What would be your next steps?

2. Calculate what the total cost of borrowing will be for the following loans using this calculator:

Student borrowed the subsidized student loan amount allowed for each of the 4 years (amounts are shown on the calculator or in the syllabus)
Student borrowed the additional $2,000 unsubsidized student loan each year for 4 years (enter this under Other Loan Amount)
Student borrowed $1,000 Perkins Loan each year for 4 years
Keep the defaulted interest rate of 6.8%
Keep the graduation date at the defaultsite.) and pick a career path for your student.
Find starting of average salary and enter that amount. Enter the loan amounts in the appropriate areas and calculate. Read the entire response. Share your results by answering the following questions:
What is the career path and the starting salary of your student?
Do you feel their starting salary will support their monthly payments? Consider the other obligations /expenses the student may have.
What is the general rule of thumb that is considered safe when looking at debt vs income?
What are some of the things you might discuss with your student/client on how to help them reduce their obligation?

3. Calculate the PLUS Loan )

The parent has borrowed $10,000 each year for 4 years. Calculate how much the total loan will be that the parents will be responsible for. What if the parent decides to have the student pay this loan in addition to all the other loans? (This can really happen) Whose responsibility is it? What would your approach be on this situation?

Case Study – National Cranberry Cooperative

1. The case study will include three sections, as a MINIMUM:

A. Section 1 – Summarize the Case Study so the Reader knows the basis of your analysis (without having to read the case study themselves).

B. Section 2 – Analyze the Key Elements of the Case Study.

C. Section 3 – If you were placed in the shoes of the decision maker(s) in the selected Case Study, Describe and Define the actions YOU would have taken to improve the outcome(s) of the case.

D. Reference(s) – Use Proper APA Format (6th Edition – Second Printing – October 2009 or later)

E. Attachments & Appendices (as needed)

2. The Case Study report will be a high quality, professionally prepared document of sufficient length (approximately 8 to 12 pages) to allow you to present your analysis to upper management so the report can serve as a decision paper to incorporate a similar process within your own organization. Graduate-level quality and performance are expected.

Case study

In this paper the client would like:

*Introduction: starting to explain the instructor of the paper and after that talk about the patient.

*Discussion: Please include statistics about colon cancer in Australia, and also focus on what is required in the marking rubric attached. Please discuss how life style choices can cause colon cancer, the client’s patient was a smoker and had type 2 diabetes and consumed alcohol (please discuss the effects of alcohol). The client’s father also has colon cancer.

Diagnostic tests: As mentioned previously the patient had to have a Faecal occult blood test (explain this test) and colonoscopy (explain this procedure).

*Nursing management: Examined the abdominal wound , vital signs were recorded every hour to identify signs of infection or deterioration, blood glucose level was monitored, check weight daily to assess fluid status and IVT to avoid dehydration after she vomited with • Ondansetron 4 mg to avoid vomiting. (Give the rational with each assessment). During Explain that because my patient not allow to take any thing orally the doctor change the order to be interventions rather than orally until the bowl sound active.

*Medical Management: explain her medications what this medication for, how it works in the body and side effect. (• Metfromin 500 mg tablet, • Simvastatin 40 mg, orally once daily, • Ondansetron 4 mg, intravenously, Captopril 50 mg, Clexane 40 mg, subcutaneous injection and Oxycodone 10 mg, orally PRN).

*Patient education: see the marking rubric.

*Discharge planning: check the marking rubric.

*Article discussion: The researcher needs to pick one article and discuss it according to the case study. The client would like the researcher to talk about Assessment and Management of patients with postoperative pain. Please compare care given with the article and please use research article. Please check the marking rubric to get more information about this part. I will upload 3 articles which is nursing research according to my case study and look which one is good that you talking about in this part and link with marking rubric.
