* I have mentioned that 40 pages are necessary. But the amount of words/pages can be changed depending on the topic.
* I have mentioned the title as “Communication Protocol for Smart Grids”. But please understand that the I’m open for topic changes as long as it involves Smart Grids and Communication (eg:- Power Line Communication, Zigbee networks for PLC, Wireless Mesh networks for Smart Metering, MAC protocol for PLC, Communication standards for PLC, Broadband PLC for Smart Grids)
*I also need a project proposal for any topic which you agree on. I can give upto 1 month deadline for the DISSERTATION. But I need the project proposal within 24 hours.

This shall consist of the title of the project report/thesis, name and address of the author and a
summary not exceeding 350 words

The candidate shall declare in the thesis the extent to which assistance has been obtained from
others in the collection of material, design and construction of apparatus, performance of
experiments, preparation of the thesis, financial support etc.

This shall include introduction, survey of prior research, objectives of the study, research design,
results, analysis, discussion and conclusions. References should be cited in the text either by
author and year or numbered. Notes may be placed at the foot of each page or in a group at the
end of each chapter. Standard International units should be used. Unit symbols should be written
after the numerical value, leaving a space between, e.g., 5 m.
Formulae: Formulae should be printed. Leave ample space around the formulae. Subscripts and
superscripts should be clear and not too small. Give the meaning of all symbols immediately
after the equation in which they are first used. For simple fractions use the solidus (/) instead of a
horizontal line. Equations should be numbered serially at the right-hand side in parentheses. Use
of fractional powers instead of root signs is recommended. Also powers of e are often more
conveniently denoted by exp. Levels of statistical significance which can be mentioned without
further explanation are *p<0.05, **P<0.001 and ***P<0.001. In chemical formulae, valence of
ions should be given as, e.g. Ca
2+
and CO3
2-, not as Ca
++
or CO3
–. The repeated writing of
chemical formulae in the text is to be avoided; instead, the name of the compound should be
given in full. Exceptions may be made in the case of very long names occurring very frequently
or in the case of a compound being described as the end product of a gravimetric determination.
Scientific Names: Scientific names of species should be in italics, e.g. Stemonoporus
canaliculatus Thw. (Dipterocarpaceae), Elettaria cardamom var. major Thw. and Shorea
disticha (Thw.) Ashton.
(x) List of References
The references in the text may either be listed at the end of the thesis or at the end of each
chapter. The references can be in the numeric system or author-year system. However, one
system should be used throughout the thesis. The format to be used is given in Section 6.9.
(xi) Appendices
Any detailed description, recipe or set of data could be included under an Appendix.
