Assignment 4.1: Course Project—The Measure Stage (GENERAL ELECTRIC)
In this assignment, you will complete the objectives of the “measure” stage for your project. You will need to use at least three tools for this assignment. Please see pages 103-104 of your text for a list of recommended tools for the measure stage.
Procedure
1. Create a process definition for your project using either a flow diagram or process map.
2. Create a metric definition for your project that will clearly define how you are going to collect the data for your project.
3. Determine the process baseline estimation for your project – use any recommended tool found on page 103 of your text.
4. Perform a measurement system analysis–quantify the errors associated with your metrics.
