Personality Disorders

Which personality disorder do you feel is the most challenging, for the sufferer and those around them (e.g. significant other, family, society!). What are the main challenges (e.g. based on symptoms)? What is the best treatment approach and why?

Group Observation

This assessment builds on what you learnt from the first assessment. Prepare a detailed structured or semi-structured observation instrument for application with a group of 5-20 people. The group should be not too small but not a really large group either. The task is to conduct a non-participant observation exercise for around 30 minutes. Conceptualize and identify the group, context and reasons for the observation. Collect your data and analyse it in depth. The group of subjects may be any type, and may be aware or unaware of your observation. If you plan to observe in schools and most institutions you will need permission. This also has ethics implications and ethical standards must be maintained at all times. Prepare a summary of your findings (six pages maximum; including a copy of the observation instrument). Of that two pages (max.) should discuss how the observation was conducted and how you analysed the data. Up to two pages should address your findings. The findings should be presented in a summary, but coherent manner. The findings from your observation are very important and are the key to this assessment. Finally include up to one page i-reflective critical analysis of your observation plus your observation schedule. Ensure all four compoents are included in your submission.I will upload the assignment example just follow it but change thee topic from family context to work meeting the staff who i need to focus on their behavior.

For this assessment, you will be required to investigate the needs of those from ‘low socio-economic status communities’ and outline the application of pedagogical possibilities for educational settings that serve these communities.

Please practice good presentation skills put your name, students number and page number on every page.
There are multiple issues with the structure of this essay. You see to have done a lot of research but are having problems bringing the information together in an organised and coherent written style. There is much repetition of ideas and varying definitions around the same concept. There is also a large amount of irrelevant information.
You do not seem to have unpacked the question nor identified the central idea of your essay clearly. This has meant your essay is repetitive and does not adequately address the entire question.
Do not use references more than 10 years old unless they are primary source documents.
You must get support in structuring and organising ideas into an appropriate essay form. You need to continue to work on improving your written English language skills.
I will send you the previous one that I submitted. Please help me to edit this one.

Proof Requirements and Sentencing

Topic:
Assignment

While working an undercover detail in a neighborhood known for drug activity, you notice a vehicle stopped at the intersection waiting for the light to change. The man in the vehicle makes eye contact with you. You approach his vehicle and begin carrying on a conversation with him. You ask him if he needs anything, and he responds by asking you, “What do you have?” You ask him what he is looking for, and he tells you he is looking to score. You show him a small bag containing a white powdery substance; he asks how much, and you respond, “20 dollars.” He hands you a $20 bill, and you give him the bag and tip your hat to signal that the transaction was completed. At this time, the man drives off and is stopped a block away by a marked unit. The individual is placed under arrest for drug possession and purchasing drugs, and he is taken to jail.

The individual is charged with possession of a controlled substance. At his trial, he claimed that he was a victim of entrapment by the police. He was found guilty and sentenced to serve 5 years in jail and given credit for the 3 months he already had served in jail.

Assignment Guidelines

Address the following in 1,150 words:

Research and provide 2–3 case briefs on specific case law related to the entrapment defense as it may or may not apply in the case scenario.
Your case briefs should follow this format:
–Title: Title of the selected case

–Facts: Summary of the events, court timeline, evidence, and so forth

–Issues: Issues that were present in this case

–Decisions: The court’s decision and the conclusion to the case

–Reasoning: The rationale behind the final decision

–Dissenting opinions: Any dissenting opinions, and an explanation of what they were and why they were raised
Answer the following questions:

1-Did you have probable cause to approach the defendant while he was parked at the traffic light? Why or why not? Defend your answer.
2-Do you feel that the entrapment defense is a valid one, considering the assignment scenario? Why or why not? Defend your answer.
3-Is providing the opportunity for someone to commit a crime the same as entrapment? Why or why not?
4-If the substance were marijuana, how much would be needed for a misdemeanor charge? A felony?
Be sure to reference all sources using APA style.

Universal

• Choose only one of the below options to write an essay.

• Citing/quoting any of the primary sources, proper in-text citations are required; a works cited page is not required if you are using the assigned, provided editions of the texts. If you are using another edition of any of the primary sources, a works cited page is required.

• Citing/quoting/using any secondary sources, a works cited page is required.

Discussion may include imagery, tone, symbols, theme, irony or other poetic devices to answer these questions.

You may interpret the poem in whatever way you best see fit, but your essay must have a thesis: a statement that provides a unique argument/interpretation about the poem and a focus as to how you will argue this interpretation. Avoid summarizing the poem.

If you are struggling with an interpretation, consider: while discussing the definition of literature, we discussed how literature should express a universal human truth or emotion. What universal human truth or emotion does the poem express? Interpret the poem in terms of this.

Please note: this means more than simply indicating what universal human truth or emotion is being expressed; you should also include a discussion/interpretation as to why this is an important theme in the work and what the poet is expressing about this truth/emotion.

This question is rather loose, so remember, your essay should incorporate a thesis (unique interpretation and focus), relevant discussion, specific examples/scenes/quotations, and should also use the literary devices discussed in class to support your claims; discussion could include imagery, tone, symbols, characters, representation, theme, irony or other poetic devices.

assessing Community Needs for Health Education week 3 Assignment

Walking surveys are systematic observations made while walking through the chosen community. Windshield surveys are systematic observations for data collection while being in a moving vehicle (“Windshield and Walking Surveys,” 2013). Windshield or Walking surveys provide you an objective viewpoint of the surveyed community. This, in turn, helps you to accurately assess a community’s health needs. You can use either type of survey to invite and mobilize the community to participate in programs. There are times that community members do not realize the number of assets and/or resources their community possesses. A windshield or walking survey can bring to light such assets or resources.
For this Assignment:
Consider your own community or select a community you are familiar with, for conducting a walking or a windshield survey.
Read this week’s Learning Resources and pay specific attention to the resources concerning walking and windshield surveys.
Review the resource Windshield Survey: A Micro Approach from this week’s resources.

Note: The tool in the above resource is used by various public health professionals and health educators. Although this particular example is targeted toward nurses, you should review the resource from the perspective of a health educator. In addition, you should consider the community you have selected to conduct the walking or windshield survey on, when reviewing the items in the resource.
Decide on the areas you will include in your walking or windshield survey.
Decide when you will conduct your walking or windshield survey.
Develop a questionnaire for your walking or windshield survey using the questions from the resource Windshield Survey: A Micro Approach, for the survey. You can also generate additional questions, as you seem appropriate.
Assignment (3-4pages)
Conduct a walking or a windshield survey. Submit a summary of your survey findings. Attach the questionnaire with your survey findings.
After conducting this walking or windshield survey, explain what other methods you think would be helpful to collect primary data from this community and why.
List other questions you would ask in a walking or a windshield survey.
Note: Please remember the following suggestions while conducting your survey:
Prior to conducting your survey, make a checklist to ensure that you address all your questions, and observe all the areas you want to.
Try to be unobtrusive.
Carry identification.
Record your findings as you go.
Pay attention to safety.
Submit your Assignment by Day 6.

Nutrition behaviours

General guidelines and topic:
• You are to assess and critically analyse your diet and wider lifestyle behaviours in this project.
• The focus is NUTRITION and you focus on the analysis/analyses of your nutrition habits.
• You have to use evidence to support your statements! Especially peer-reviewed journal articles. We suggest
that you use a minimum of 5 journal articles and 3 other reliable ‘grey literature’ sources such as government
websites (this recommended number is different for each assignment). Remember that Week 3’s lecture and
tutorial focused on scientific evidence, citing and referencing. Also – like with the other 2 assignments – you
need to reference images. Don’t hyperlink images in this assignment (you are only allowed to hyperlink in the
blog assignment) – instead, either list the image source (i.e. web address) below the image (you can use this
resource to shorten long web links if you want to: http://tinyurl.com/) or ‘cite/reference’ the images as Sophia
did in Week 3’s lecture using letters, e.g. [A]. If the image is your own, please state that in a caption beneath
the image.
• This assessment has an emphasis on learning outcome 3.
• You can use some or all of the lifestyle measurement tools you used in tutorial classes T3-5 in Weeks 4-6 (e.g. 24-
hour recall of vegetable intake, food diary, IPAQ, DASS, etc.). You may also choose to use other lifestyle
measurement tools (preferably those that are validated by evidence) not covered in classes.
• You will submit a Word or pdf document via Turnitin/Moodle.
• A suggested structure for your project is outlined below. The main section headings are mandatory (e.g.
Background, Methods…), but you can decide what you include within each main section. Remember to keep
the Marking Rubric on page 2 in mind, and to cite references throughout.
o Title of your choice
o Background: things that you could include: nutrition/lifestyle influences on health, types of nutrients/foods,
determinants of (your) food and drink intake/wider lifestyle habits, what are guidelines for nutrition/physical
activity, nutrition/lifestyle assessment methods: how, why, limitations?
Nutrition Project Guide and Marking Rubric, page: 1 of 2
GENM0707 Nutrition and Health, S2 2015
o Methods: How you assessed your own nutrition/lifestyle habits. Include some or all details of your
assessment activities in the tutorials, e.g. the 3-day food diary that you completed. With this food diary, you
can estimate your daily intakes of energy in kJ and/or macro- or micronutrients that you are interested in. If
you used an app to do your food diary, this information may have been calculated automatically, but if
you recorded your food and drink intake on paper

exploring Health Education in the 21st Century

This week, you will focus on Area 2 of the Seven Areas of Responsibility for Health Educators. Before you journal your thoughts related to this area of responsibility, reflect on how this area of responsibility may inform your personal and professional skills for health education practice.
Describe your strengths and weaknesses in relation to the Area 2 responsibility of health educators (planning health education) and explain why these represent strengths and weaknesses. Then identify potential opportunities for growth for this area of responsibility.
Explain steps that you might take to build your expertise in health education and for the development of competencies for your role as a health educator.
Explain how this area of responsibility might be reflected in your professional life.

Implication for practice

Programming and planning: Identify some strategies to encourage children’s critical thinking around normalising discourses of gender and sexuality.
Working with staff, families and children: Identify some strategies to initiate and maintain an inclusive and continuous dialogue around issues, concerns and fears for social justice.

Substance abuse and eating disorders

week’s question is multifaceted and integrates information from both multiple chapters.
• Which eating disorder do you feel is the most dangerous and hardest to treat?
• Which substance do you feel is the hardest to recover from? (Physically and/or mentally)
• Do you feel there is a link between substance abuse and eating disorders?
(Note: you may discuss sensation seeking, need to control, depression, etc.)
• What, if anything, do you think can be done to improve poor treatment outcomes among both disorders.
