Find References and A scale

Just find 60 references and write them down, and find a scale to measure depression for College students for example (Beck Depression Inventory)make sure not to long scale the shorter the better. I will upload the research proposal to have an idea about the topic before you find the references. ( Articles, Journal, Dissertations, peer review as possible) no that much of books please.

Choose your own topic

For this assessment you are asked to submit ONE document containing FOUR maps showcasing the skills you have learnt in the practical classes. Each map should be accompanied by a paragraph (around 200-300 words) explaining the choices you made in creating your maps; for example map style, layout, symbology, fonts, map projection.

• The document should be in PDF format created from a word processor containing high-resolution maps exported from ArcMap (not screenshots). Make sure your maps are legible.

• You will be provided with sources for data to complete the tasks, but you are encouraged to find and use more data where possible.

• Your portfolio will be assessed on the clarity of cartography, accuracy of data and appropriateness of analytical techniques.

Map Details
1 Map of Northamptonshire roads with appropriate symbols, labels and furniture.

2 Map centred on a country showing features such as major cities, tectonic boundaries, active volcanoes and UNESCO world heritage sites.

3 Using the aerial imagery of Kingston, a map depicting all trees, the River Thames, footpaths in Hampton Court and all buildings in the triangle between Portsmouth Road, Surbiton Road and Riverside Close.
4 Choropleth map of a UK county of your choice showing percentage of unemployed economically active males 16-74. Pay particular attention to data manipulation, data classification and symbolisation.

Report

The reports are probably the most important component of the course and you should put effort into making them high-quality and easily readable. Think of these as assignments an intern might receive on the job: you want to earn the respect and admiration of your boss (TA , professor)! Typing is always preferred, and all writing should be in complete and grammatically correct sentences.
Depending on the report there is typically a data analysis, graphical presentation, a mathematical problem and written summary in several parts. Students are expected to be able to present tables and graphs in Excel or a similar software. All tables and graphs should be neat and clearly labelled. We will discuss guidelines in class. I am happy to cover details of Excel for students who may need help, but we will do this outside class as the need arises.
All of the reports combine numerical analysis with interpretation. You will often see the words “explain” or “summarize”. Interpret these as shorthand for: “Type a short, clear paragraph in grammatically correct English to explain your answer.” If you follow these guidelines the overall length of each report should rarely exceed 2 pages.
All graphs should be clear and large enough to be legible, and the legends or titles should be thorough enough to understand the data presented. Do not turn in the raw data in the case of graphs or other analysis. The textbook provides great illustrations of tables and graphs that follow these conventions.
Notice from the textbook samples that there is an art to presenting tables and graphs clearly. For example, there should be no excess decimal places. Imagine a table that reports US GDP as $16,345,973,299,674.98765. UGLY! It should instead indicate 16.3 ($ trillion). Any number in a table or graph should be easy to understand and without extraneous decimals. Graph formatting, such as axes values, should be simple and clear and consistent from one graph to another.
The grade of 5 points per report is broken down loosely into: 2 point neatness and clarity, 1 point completeness, and 2 points correct answers. Students should do their own work. Since you have a lot of discretion in how to present your answers, no two reports should be identical. Your TAs are authorized to penalize you if there is strong evidence of copying among students. Late reports will also be penalized by 1 point per day late.

proposal research (Impact Strategic Plan and Finance Performance )

a proposal (including 250-300 words abstract) so that you and s/he can agree a feasible plan for implementing your dissertation. The proposal should be approximately 1,500 words long (not counting abstract, references and bibliography).
The guiding principle of my research is as follow:
How is Corporate Social Responsibility experienced and managed in PH?
In order to draw the most accurate picture, I will particularly examine the following issues:
– How do stakeholders define Corporate Social Responsibility with regard to PH?
– How do stakeholders perceive the Corporate Social Responsibility performance of
PH?
– How do stakeholders interact with PH?
– How is Corporate Social Responsibility implemented and monitored within

culture & organiztion

Instructions on Assessment:

‘The value of a student’s international experience goes beyond purely the acquisition of language – it lies in the ability to see business and personal issues from other than your own cultural perspective

Title: An analysis of the culture of an organisation

PLEASE REMEMBER TO PUT YOUR SEMINAR TUTOR’S NAME ON YOUR ASSIGNMENT FRONT HAND IN SHEET

Your report will apply ONE theoretical framework used in the study of organizational culture to conduct an analysis of an organization’s culture.

The analysis will illustrate the culture by focusing on EITHER

1. an issue (something which the organization has responded to) OR
2. a particular organizational practice (something the organization does) OR
3. an event (some particular incident or series of incidents inside the organization) OR
4. a sub – unit (an organizational department department/division) .

(The web sites are provided as somewhere to consult but will only be the start of your research)
This module is studied in many overseas locations. The lists of organizations available to choose are amended slightly to take into account greater suitability for the part of the world they study in. Whilst not giving you too much choice! We think it only fair to allow all students to choose from the entire list, so have included these as well and you can choose one organisation from this list as well if you wish, however normally UK based students choose from the list of seven organizations above and so please speak to your seminar tutor for guidance before choosing from the list below:

Hutchison Whampoa, UNIQLO,United Overseas Bank (UOB), Tigerair, ZARA, ZTE, ArcelorMittal

Your report will not exceed 3000 words (excluding appendices) and must use the following format:

• A brief background to the organization and its environment
• An Introduction to the focus of the report (the practice, issue, event or sub-unit)
(NOTE: WITHIN THIS SECTION YOU MUST INCLUDE A SENTENCE STATING YOUR FOCUS CLEARLY AND SIMPLY)
• A brief argument which explains/justifies why you have chosen a particular theoretical framework instead of 1 other alternative that you considered but have rejected.
• A brief explanation of your chosen theoretical framework that you will use to analyse the organization, including its main concepts
• An analysis of the practice, issue, event or sub-unit which uses the chosen theoretical framework and concepts
• Conclusions (including recommendations if necessary)

Word limits and penalties for assignments

If the assignment is within +10% of the stated word limit no penalty will apply.

The word count is to be declared on the front page of your assignment and the assignment cover sheet. The word count does not include:

• Title and Contents page • Reference list • Appendices • Appropriate tables, figures and illustrations
• Glossary • Bibliography • Quotes from interviews and focus groups.

If this word count is falsified, students are reminded that under ARNA page 30 Section 3.4 this will be regarded as academic misconduct.
If the word limit of the full assignment exceeds the +10% limit, 10% of the mark provisionally awarded to the assignment will be deducted. For example: if the assignment is worth 70 marks but is above the word limit by more than 10%, a penalty of 7 marks will be imposed, giving a final mark of 63.

Students are advised that they may be asked to submit an electronic version of their assignment.

Time limits and penalties for presentations

The time allocated for the presentation must be adhered to. At the end of this time, the presentation will be stopped and will be marked based on what has been delivered within the time limit
