Presentation of Research
Evaluators should expand upon considerations of research rigor and also be mindful of the larger context in which they are working. Evaluators should be mindful of the effect evaluations have on policy making. To ensure that evaluation results are useful, evaluators should consider how their findings can be used to inform program and clinical practice from the beginning of their research.
Guidelines for maximizing utilization of evaluation include:
Evaluators should understand the cognitive styles of decision makers. A way to achieve this is to tailor reports to the specific audience(s).
Evaluation results must be timely and available when needed.
Evaluations must respect stakeholders’ program commitments. The usefulness of evaluations depends on wide participation in the evaluation design process to ensure sensitivity to various stakeholders’ interests.
Utilization of dissemination plans should be part of the evaluation design, this include short and long-term recommendations.
Evaluators and decision-makers must share an understanding of the purposes of the study and agree on the criteria by which successful use of the findings may be judged.
(Rossi, Lipsey, & Freeman, 2004, p. 416)
For this Discussion, you reflect on how evaluations can be used, who are the stakeholders, what methods will you use in your evaluation, and how will you disseminate your results to ensure that your recommendations are adequately considered.
Post by Day 4 a brief summary of your Clarksville program.

Then describe how you might present your process and outcomes evaluation results to stakeholders associated with your Clarksville program.

Identify two of the stakeholders and describe how you might present negative results to each type of stakeholder in a constructive manner.

Provide suggestions on how these findings can be used in the program and whether you believe that the suggested changes are likely to be implemented.

My Clarksville Project:

Clarksville is the fifth-largest city in the Montgomery County, Tennessee with a population reported of 132,963 in the U.S Census in 2010 and predicted to be around 146,806 in 2014 (United State Census Bureau, 2015). The small city is growing concern due to its ever increasing crime rates which is a total of 5,061 (Annually) out of which 750 incidents are recorded as highly violent instances. Which are broadly 543 assaults; 6 are murder cases, 84 rape cases, and 115 robbery cases. According to our research of Tennessee and other state lists there were 187 registered sex offenders living in Clarksville, Tennessee as of August 31, 2015. The reported numbers for sex offender with respect to sex offenders is 762 to 1 (City-data.com, 2015).

Domestic violence is referred to as abusive behavior displayed in any relationship that is part of the nature or dominance of one partner to dictate or drive terms over the other intimate partner. There are various types of domestic violence be it physical, economic, sexual, psychological, and influential power play. It is started off by injuring, manipulating, isolating, terrorizing, threaten, blaming, torturing and coercing. The city is quite high on crime rates even after the city is known as an industrial city (cityofclarksville.com, 2015).

There is the need to mobilize the community to prevent domestic violence. The community would be encouraged to strengthen informal social networks. These networks consist of family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and other religious, civic, and community ties. Domestic violence intervention strategies focus on strengthening existing informal social networks or developing new ones through volunteer, peer support, and mentorship programs. These strategies focus on building healthy relationships to prevent violence from occurring, reduce isolation so that problems can be more quickly identified, and encourage community members to support one another in promoting nonviolence.

The law enforcers do not get proper information and mostly people withdraw the complaint saying it was a mistake and therefore the guilty are not brought to justice, the suppression causes the concern to grow. Support group and other methods of assistance need to be shared. Community groups are there to protect child care and other supports. So an awakening is needed to prevent such abuse in the name of comfort. Various shelters are already part of the program that is being done by the government itself (U.s Department of Housing and Urban Development).

Exploring Health Education Discussion week 11 (last week)

Skills for the Future Health Educator
Throughout this course, you examined attributes of health educators that contribute to effective health education practice. You also examined NCHEC’s Seven Areas of Responsibility for Health Educators and identified opportunities to develop those skills that you may not possess or that you would like to refine. As you consider emerging trends within the field of health education, what role does the health educator play in promoting social change for this emerging trend? How will considerations for addressing this emerging trend inform the types of health education programs a health educator will implement?
For this Discussion, reflect on emerging trends within health education. Consider how health educators advocate for social change in addressing emerging trends and the skills health educators should possess in promoting social change.
Post by Day 3 a description of two areas that you believe are the most important emerging trends within health education in promoting social change and explain why. Explain how you, as a health educator, would advocate for social change in addressing these health trends. Explain what skills a health educator should possess to address emerging health trends and how those skills will affect the delivery of health education. Be specific and provide examples.

Literature review that explores previous research on the topic, with special attention paid to theoretical investigation of the topic.

This paper is based on the annotated bibliography on sports advertising I’ve wrote earlier. It asks for patterns and similarities in those articles I’ve talked about. It’s important to say that: this paper is limited regarding to the references and not the number of pages. For example, it could take 5-6 articles to talk about a topic in a page or even a paragraph. You can also use other online articles that support the thesis. For this order; it is alright if you can manage to use around 35 articles.

Assessing Community Needs for Health Education week 11 discussion ( last week)

Health Effects on the Built Environment
In this week’s readings, you have learned how policy, systems, and environmental change approaches are promising and essential to addressing health inequities; however, to be optimally effective, such changes also require strategic actions to reduce or eliminate any barriers populations experiencing health disparities face. Strategic actions can also help to avoid any negative unintended consequences of such changes.
“For example, inaccessible or nonexistent sidewalks and bicycle or walking paths contribute to sedentary habits. These habits lead to poor health outcomes such as obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and some types of cancer. Today, approximately two thirds of Americans are overweight” (Impact of the Built Environment,” 2011).
To encourage healthy community design, health educators can learn how to collaborate across multiple disciplines such as transportation, urban planning, architecture, and public health law. These interactions aid in the development of guidelines, support pilot projects, and educate current and future planners and public health professionals about designing healthier communities.
For this Discussion, consider the community in which you live.
Post by Day 3 an example of and explain how your built environment affects your health (positively or negatively). Provide recommendations of what could be added or removed from your built environment to enhance or improve your health or the health of the community. Justify the rationale for your recommendations.
Remember to begin interacting with your colleagues in the Discussion no later than Day 5 and continue engaging through Day 7 by responding to one or more colleagues by providing an additional recommendation and/or policy that could enhance or improve your colleague’s built environment.
Support your work with specific citations from this week’s Learning Resources and additional scholarly sources as appropriate. Refer to the Essential Guide to APA Style for Walden Students to ensure that your in-text citations and reference list are correct.

ABSTRACT
Objective: To describe and discuss the process used to write a narrative review of the literature for publication in
a peer-reviewed journal. Publication of narrative overviews of the literature should be standardized to increase
their objectivity.
Background: In the past decade numerous changes in research methodology pertaining to reviews of the literature
have occurred. These changes necessitate authors of review articles to be familiar with current standards in the
publication process.
Methods: Narrative overview of the literature synthesizing the findings of literature retrieved from searches of
computerized databases, hand searches, and authoritative texts.
Discussion: An overview of the use of three types of reviews of the literature is presented. Step by step instructions
for how to conduct and write a narrative overview utilizing a ‘best-evidence synthesis’ approach are discussed,
starting with appropriate preparatory work and ending with how to create proper illustrations. Several resources
for creating reviews of the literature are presented and a narrative overview critical appraisal worksheet is
included. A bibliography of other useful reading is presented in an appendix.
Conclusion: Narrative overviews can be a valuable contribution to the literature if prepared properly. New and
experienced authors wishing to write a narrative overview should find this article useful in constructing such a
paper and carrying out the research process. It is hoped that this article will stimulate scholarly dialog amongst
colleagues about this research design and other complex literature review methods. (J Chiropr Med 2006;5:101–

INTRODUCTION
Background
The purpose of this article is to describe and discuss
the research design known as a review of the literature
and to delineate how to write a particular variety
of this research design, the narrative overview of
the literature. Another intention of this article is to
provide educational information and assistance for
those who have not yet published a literature review
and to decrease potential author frustration
that can arise during the peer review process. It is
important to note that the general classification of
’literature review’ has three varieties: narrative review,
qualitative systematic review and quantitative
systematic review. Each will be addressed in this
article. However, the primary focus of this article
will be on the writing of a narrative review.
A literature review is a type of research article published
in a professional peer-reviewed journal. The
purpose of a literature review is to objectively report
the current knowledge on a topic and base this
summary on previously published research.1 A literature
review provides the reader with a comprehensive
overview and helps place that information
into perspective.2
The literature review research design is different
from other research designs because rather than
patients, data to write the report are collected from
the published literature.3,4 These full length articles
provide a new conclusion to the literature, not the
brief summary of literature that is given typically in
the introduction or discussion sections of other research
designs.2,5 In creating a literature review, the
author searches through the literature, retrieves numerous
sources of information and synthesizes the
findings of all relevant sources into one article.2,3,6
Thus, a vast amount of information is brought together
and written in a manner in which the reader
can clearly understand the topic.
There are several reasons to read reviews of the
literature. For the clinician, they can save valuable
time when reviewing or searching for information
about patient care by condensing a great amount of
information into a few pages.1,6,7 The clinician can
read one paper instead of sifting through the whole
of the literature to find the answer to a clinical
question; the author of the literature review has
already done most of this work for him.

Is economics simply a mathematical expression of culture and values?

the research paper is about the topic that I showed. please do have a look on the research paper guidance.

sustainibility in global business

Project Title: Meeting the Challenge of Sustainable Business
Submission date: Wednesday 25.11.2015 by 23:59 (No deadline extensions)
Submission format: Written Report (2000 words) highlights of the project are to be briefly
presented in class
Submission method: Upload to Turn-it-in on Blackboard
Aims and Objective
This final individual project report ‘Meeting the Challenge of Sustainable Business’ builds on the
formative assessment and should reflect your ability to consolidate your knowledge and
understanding of the key concepts and tools learned throughout the module and whilst being free to
express your creativity in a medium term future context.
The project consists of developing a scenario for a sustainable business set 45 years ahead in 2060.
You should provide a rationale for a future business that is plausible and that offers an ‘innovative’
solution to a set of identified difficult environmental and social challenges that might exist at that time.
The aim of scenario planning is to help you gain insights into how business can plan for the future in
an uncertain world, in the far medium term. The business scenario should be supported by emerging
and future trends related to the chosen business sector, and take into account environmental
limitations and the socio-political issues; alongside a strategy for sustainable innovation that could
provide value creation and competitive advantage for a business at that time.
The aim is to demonstrate understanding of the complex issues, risks and opportunities business face
and apply the appropriate knowledge, as well as creative and entrepreneurial thinking to reach
convincing solutions for a sustainable global business. The future setting will allow you greater
creative freedom. However, you are also expected to document your rationale using currently credible
sources and bibliography based both on key readings on the module as well as in your individual
research.
Task
You will refine your initial research findings building on your research for the formative assessment
(see the brief for the formative assessment) to present a sustainable business scenario set in year
2060. The sustainable business scenario will be based on research into the geo-political, socioeconomic,
legal and environmental factors affecting a nation; an industry; and your chosen business
and provide a response and adapt to the major challenges you will have identified in terms of
environmental risks and socio-political issues that pose a direct risk to the company and its
community. You should aim to research and demonstrate:
 How industry standards and country/government laws and regulations will affect business
decisions in terms of sustainability at a global and local level.
 How environmental factors such as: fresh water shortage, waste, land-use, climate change,
pollution and bio-diversity loss will impact a selected business/ industry the most alongside
economic and/or demographic factors.
 How scenario planning can help formulate a strategy for sustainable innovation that will provide
value creation and competitive advantage.
 Optionally, referencing how business leaders and global corporations use emerging and future
trends to inform future visions and plans (see reports from the EU, UN and various organisations
such as Unilever, Volkswagen or Shell’s plans for 2050).
You will demonstrate that you can apply the appropriate knowledge (concepts, methods and tools
introduced and explored in the lectures and seminars) through research and analytical evaluation.
STM5A1 – Sustainability in Global Business
Assessment brief and guidelines
STM5A1 – RBS – AL/RD – Autumn 2015
You are expected to use relevant and credible sources based both on key readings on the module as
well as from your individual research.
Format
Written report (2000 words +- 10%), Word processed, using 11pt with 1.5 line spacing.
Assessment
This project report is a summative assessment and weights 100% of the final grade for this module.
The assessment will be moderated. No negotiation of marks will be possible once the final mark is
given to you with feedback.
The final mark will be assessed using the criteria below.
CRITERIA
Demonstrates analytical evaluation and systemic understanding
Relevancy and quality of the scenario plan
Correct use and application of sustainability concepts and tools to sustain
the analysis and recommendations
Structure, coherence and clarity of the text
Research skills and correct use of referencing and bibliography
Presentation and argumentation skills
Guidelines for content and structure (Indicative)
This project will be assessed on the way the document is structured and written. Make sure you check
spelling and grammar. It is highly recommended to include illustrations such as images, drawings,
tables, graphs if appropriate but make sure you acknowledge the sources correctly, authors/ copyright
in captions under the image. To construct a coherent structure for your report you should consider the
following:
Title page: the title, sub-title if any, date, student name and module.
A summary: a short (one paragraph) overview of what the report contains including conclusion and
recommendations. (write this at the end)
Contents page: including the headings for the sections
Introduction: introduce the aims and objectives of the report and then provide the context with the
necessary background information in a concise manner.
Main section: Introduce the scenario set in 2060 that describes a sustainable business that operates
within a resource-constrained economy of that time yet that offers a solution that is plausible and
‘innovative’ to the difficult environmental and social challenges. Justify the scenario: What has
happened? What has changed? How have environmental limitations impacted your industry, society
and global markets? How will governments respond? How can the industry respond? How do the
specifics of your home country interact with the limitations and impacts? Why did you prioritise the
impacts as you have? Describe the strategy for your business’s sustainable innovation: Why did you
approach the business development strategy as you did? What are the opportunities? Why might the
business model need to change? Why do you consider your chosen approach to be the best one for
your business?
 Stick to what is relevant and be concise, write in a clear, brief and direct style
 Make sure you make logical sections with clear headings
STM5A1 – Sustainability in Global Business
Assessment brief and guidelines
STM5A1 – RBS – AL/RD – Autumn 2015
 Any extra background information should go in the appendices.
 Include figures/diagrams/charts if need be (don’t put these in the appendix)
Reflection: in summary, you should include your own critical reflections on the task, highlighting your
own point of view and how the elaboration of this report has helped you gain a better insight into
Sustainability in Global Business.
Bibliography: All sources need to be cited including Internet. References should be traceable –
anyone reading your report should be able to follow up your references so they must be able to find
them from what you’ve written. Use the Harvard system: AUTHOR LAST NAME, first name (DATE),
Full Title, where published, name of publisher.
Research and documentation:
To support your scenario and strategy you should apply core information and concepts presented in
the textbook and the lecture/seminar presentations alongside an array of reliable and relevant
sources of information that you will research independently. You should consult official (government)
as well as industry and company sources. Additional, third party sources should be used, see the
RULDiscovery library on-line resources such as such as EBSCOhost databases, Greenfiles etc. If you
use selected quotes from any source you must indicate the source properly. All quotes, and
resources used in the report must be referenced using the standard Harvard system (see the Student
College Handbook for guidance). Make sure the sources are relevant to your topic and what you
write. For good practice you should aim to have a minimum of 7-8 sources of which 3 should be from
the RULDiscovery database.
In Class presentation:
As part of your assessment you have to perform a brief in class presentation of the main
section of your report for a minimum duration of 3 minutes. That is, you must perform if you
are to pass the module. However, the quality of your presentation will not count towards your
assessment. It is good practice to learn to present your work to a group of your peers. It will be
interesting for them to understand, in a structured way, what you have been working on. You can
present in any format that is both visual and audible. If you have not finished your presentation it will
be stopped at 7 minutes.
