Unreached People of Bedouin,

1. This is a UPG NOT a UUPC (Unreached, Unengaged PG). You must choose a group that has enough information to warrant a paper this size.
2. Be sure to footnote from joshuaproject.net the UPG status.
3. The thesis statement should refer briefly to the entire paper outline.
4. So I can help you prevent any major problems, include a proposed table of contents too, showing the projected outline and page limits for each section. This change will increase the one page limit.
5. Your unreached people group paper is 30 percent (300 points) of your grade so begin now. IT IS DUE FRIDAY NIGHT. NO EXTENSIONS DUE TO CHRISTMAS. Follow the instructions, announcement advice and grading rubric very closely. NOTE: The first two chapters provide information for the third chapter.
Focus on information that directly impacts the development of your strategy.
a. Background information (5–7 pages) on the people group (history, language, culture, economy, religion, family). Also, include in an appendix a map. Focus on information that impacts your strategy development.
1.
a. A survey of missions work (5–7 pages) to this people (history of missions among them, the current status of the church, how many known believers, challenges, present strategies; if possible, contact a missionary presently working with this group). Again, focus on the information that aides and applies to your strategy
b. Proposed strategy (6–7 pages). This is the longest part of your paper. From the perspective of (1) a missionary going to them (2) a missions organization beginning work among them (3) a sending church sending laborers to work among them, propose a strategy. While biblical principles ought to be in place, the specific strategy should take into account the background information on the people group and the survey of past and present missions work among the people. Finally, your project should take into consideration the articles in Winter and Hawthorne, Perspectives, chs. 84–136. Note the need to include a comprehensive approach. Including how each of these approaches from the texts apply to your UPG:church planting, medical (including dental and optical), tent making, short term trips, Bible distribution, construction, dynamic equivalents, children’s events, orphanages, technology, water wells, music, radio/TV, reaching nationals outside the country to return with Jesus.
8. This RESEARCH paper should conform to the LU Style Guide and include a title page, table of contents, section headings, at least 30 scholarly footnotes (in addition to scripture), introduction, conclusion and a bibliography. Your paper should include more than 6 scholarly sources, including all class texts. NOTE the maximum page count of 20 pages of content will be needed for an A grade.
9. These are the most common errors: This is NOT a country study. If you present a country study or a group not listed on joshuaproject, the paper will be penalized 80 points.
10. Wikkipedia is NOT a scholarly source. Use only Internet references that have peer review
11. The Safe Assign system used by Liberty is thorough, effective and indisputable.
12. Interviews are great, remember to include the transcript in an appendix
13. The LU Style guide does not allow First Person in a formal paper. The experiences, opinions and beliefs of the writer are not the focus of this research paper. The writer is an observer NOT a participant.
14. The bib and footnotes should be single spaced. A minimum of 30 scholarly footnotes is required.
15. Please do not use any one source more than THREE times to ensure a thorough research paper.
16. Look in Turabian p. 219, number 5 for correct citation of chapters in Winter.
17. Please be sure to include practical application. The longest section should be the strategy section. Please include applicable scripture throughout
18. Note a research paper anticipates extensive interaction with scholars and resources (at least 30 scholarly footnotes in addition to extensive scripture citations).
The writer’s experience is not a resource. Personal opinions are not appropriate but if included must be in a footnote and documented from biblical and scholarly sources

Philosophy

Write a two- page (double- spaced, 12- point Times New Roman font, 1- inch margins) essay on each of the following three topics. TO BE CLEAR: IN THIS ASSIGNMENT YOU MUST WRITE THREE ESSAYS: ONE ON TOPIC (1) AND ONE ON TOPIC (2) AND ONE ON TOPIC (3). EACH ESSAY MUST BE TWO PAGES IN LENGTH FOR A TOTAL OF SIX PAGES.

Your essays should NOT include any introduction, conclusion, footnotes, bibliography, or any other paraphernalia of the standard college term paper. Avoid the use of jargon (any term that would be unfamiliar to someone who has not taken a philosophy course) and ‘- isms’ (for example, ‘relativism,’ ‘subjectivism,’ ‘nihilism’) UNLESS you give a precise definition of the term with its first occurrence in your essay. Best to play it safe, though: a philosophical essay ought to be written in clear, and so short, declarative sentences.

(1) In John Perry’s A Dialogue on Personal Identity and Immortality, Gretchen Weirob argues that even if a person has a soul, sameness of person (or personal identity) can’t consist in sameness of soul. Explain how Gretchen argues for this conclusion by answering the following questions. Why does she think we can’t know whether the principle ‘Same body, same soul’ is true? How does she argue from the fact that we don’t know whether that principle is true to the conclusion that we can’t know whether any person at one point in time is identical to (the same person as) a person at a later point in time. And how does Gretchen use that conclusion to argue that sameness of person does not consist in sameness of soul?

(2) In Death, Shelly Kagan claims that “there are some implications of rejecting the existence requirement that may be rather hard to swallow” (p. 217). What is the version of the existence requirement that appears as a premise in Epicurus’ argument? What are the implications of rejecting it that Kagan finds hard to swallow? (Hint: here you need to explain what a possible person is and how they are harmed.) How can these implications be avoided by adopting what Kagan calls the “modest” version of the existence requirement? What if any counter- intuitive implications does the modest existence requirement have?

(3) Kagan thinks that death can be, and very often is, bad for the person who dies (and this is so because death deprives that person of the goods of life). But Kagan denies that it is reasonable or appropriate to fear death. Explain as clearly as you can his view. What are the conditions he places on reasonable or appropriate fear? What are the different things he thinks we might fear in 2 fearing death? And why does he think it isn’t reasonable or appropriate to fear any of these things?

Constitutional and Administrations Law

Discuss the representation of femininity

Essays must be word processed and properly formatted. Follow the ESSENTIAL STYLE GUIDE for layout and referencing conventions. You must also remember to include a filmography after your bibliography. If you do not clearly indicate (‘using inverted commas’) and reference any phrases and sentences not your own that you have copied from printed or electronic sources, you are plagiarising. Your main sources should be books, chapters and journal articles. Use Internet sources sparingly and be aware that these can be detected by staff electronically.

Reflecting Writing

Reflective Writing Brief: Critically consider at least one key academic argument from the course so far, evaluating its relevance and impact in terms of the social world in which you live.

The reflective writing exercise is an opportunity for you to consider your gendered experience in light of the academic theory and examples you have studied in the first semester of the course. You will need to make references to academic texts, and these will need to be referenced using the Harvard System of referencing.

You might want to talk about gender and society or male and female differences or how gender is performed through social actions

Challenges in the Global Business Environment

According to the textbook, ongoing challenges in the global business environment are mostly attributed to unethical business practices, failure to embrace technology advancements, and stiff competition among businesses. Imagine that you have been appointed as Apple’s Chief Compliance Officer and must prepare a video presentation for Apple’s suppliers regarding Apple’s Supplier Code of Conduct to deliver via a web meeting. To prepare for your presentation, review Apple’s Supplier Code of Conduct,
You must also create a presentation using PowerPoint (or other equivalent software) summarizing the important changes and explanations regarding the code of conduct that you communicated in your video presentation to email to the suppliers after the meeting for future reference.
Part 1: Video Presentation OR Paper

Prepare and present a video that is a maximum of five to seven (5-7) minutes OR write a four to six (4-6) page paper in which you:

1.List specific changes that Apple has made to its Code of Conduct in recent years. Provide at least one (1) example of each change.
2.Explain the identified changes to the suppliers in such a way that they will understand the standards that Apple requires in order to maintain their relationship with the company.
Part 2: PowerPoint Presentation

Create a six to eight (6-8) slide PowerPoint presentation in which you:

1.Summarize Apple’s Supplier Responsibility information.
2.Discuss Apple’s stance on each of the following areas:
a.Empowering workers
b.Labor and Human Rights
c.Health and Safety
d.The Environment
e.Accountability
1.Identify the key ways that Apple’s Progress Report has changed since last year.
2.Examine the manner in which Apple’s Supplier Code of Conduct helps the organization operate as a socially responsible organization.
3.Provide detailed speaker notes of what you would say if you were delivering the presentation.
4.Submit a reference page with at least two (2) quality references that you have used for this presentation / paper. Note: Wikipedia and other Websites do not qualify as academic resources.

week5 research methods

Part I – Answer the following questions:

Jackson (2012), even-numbered chapter exercises, p 360.
Describe the advantages and disadvantages of quasi-experiments? What is the fundamental weakness of a quasi-experimental design? Why is it a weakness? Does its weakness always matter?
If you randomly assign participants to groups, can you assume the groups are equivalent at the beginning of the study? At the end? Why or why not? If you cannot assume equivalence at either end, what can you do? Please explain.
Explain and give examples of how the particular outcomes of a study can suggest if a particular threat is likely to have been present.
Describe each of the following types of designs, explain its logic, and why the design does or does not address the selection threats discussed in Chapter 7 of Trochim and Donnelly (2006):
Non-equivalent control group pretest only
Non-equivalent control group pretest/posttest
Cross-sectional
Regression-Discontinuity
Why are quasi-experimental designs used more often than experimental designs?
One conclusion you might reach (hint) after completing the readings for this assignment is that there are no bad designs, only bad design choices (and implementations). State a research question for which a single-group post-test only design can yield relatively unambiguous findings.

Part II – Answer the following questions:

What research question(s) does the study address?
What is Goldberg’s rationale for the study? Was the study designed to contribute to theory? Do the results of the study contribute to theory? For both questions: If so, how? If not, why not?
What constructs does the study address? How are they operationalized?
What are the independent and dependent variables in the study?
Name the type of design the researchers used.
What internal and external validity threats did the researchers address in their design? How did they address them? Are there threats they did not address? If so how does the failure to address the threats affect the researchers’ interpretations of their findings? Are Goldberg’s conclusions convincing? Why or why not?

Support your paper with a minimum of 5 resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.

Length: 5-7 pages not including title and reference pages
References: Minimum of 5 scholarly resources.

STR-based DNA profiling (short tandem repeat)

Paper requirements:
Each student will write a Six page paper citing at least six scholarly sources one the topic given to you. This paper should be written using (APA) format (strictly enforced) with title page and reference page. Your paper should be double spaced with no more than 12 point font and one inch margins. Research for this paper should come from scholarly sources. The Journal of Forensic Science is a very well respected journal in this field. The paper should provide results of scientific experimentation on your topic and must provide much greater depth of the selected topic than covered in class.

Dear writer, I also included some sources already in APA format. I don’t know if you want to use them or not but I need no less than six scholarly peer reviewed sources.

Research Methods

You are required to complete an individual reflective essay which evaluates the strengths and shortcomings of the research strategies and actions adopted by your group. In order to do this you will need to:
 analyse relevant research methods theories and models
 assess the strengths and shortcomings of the strategies and actions adopted by your group, and consider how they may have been improved (bearing in mind reviewed literature)

you need o answer 1-6 questions is about rugby but you not going to talk rugby each section I will but a pages it will help the writer bit more.
I will put a file it has to look like that my work but only the topics are different. I will but a file It will help the writer to understand more.
Each sections needs to have referees
In particular you should reflect upon:
Intro
1. How a research question, which required secondary and primary data (qualitative and quantitative) to effectively address it, was formulated?
2. How it was decided the identified research question could best be answered?
3. The sourcing, evaluation and analysis of relevant secondary (existing) material for the development of a literature review.?
4. How relevant primary data (qualitative and quantitative) were accessed, gathered, recorded and analysed?
5. the presentation and defence of the research process and findings at the ‘Undergraduate Research Conference’?
6. how ethical issues were addressed?
Evidence to support statements/argument should be drawn from your methods of enquiry research journal entries. This evidence should be presented in the main body of the essay as description of critical incidents or as quotations in inverted commas (giving journal page number).
This part will help the writer
Ethics we considered throughout our research project

• integrity and objectivity of researcher – promoted honesty and avoided deceiving them
• Avoidance of harm – ensured confidentiality was kept
• Privacy – anonymous
• Avoided leading questions in interviews, questionnaires
• Ensured interviews were held at sociable times
• As we took a covert approach – had to debriefing them fully after observation

Qualitative data

When collecting our qualitative data we focused on the following things: locations, time and if fans showed any strange or special explicit behavior. To collect such data, we conducted covert ethnographic observations in different locations to gauge and record genuine reactions by rugby fans.

An ethnographic observation is an observation done from the point of view of the subject. This of course could only be conducted by sitting within rugby fans and watching the matches with them. Our data was only collected when each of us heard the sighs and cheers during the matches and felt the camaraderie after therefore taking a covert approach..

We conducted this observation in a few different places including pubs, the Oxford Brookes Sports Center, a stadium, and a local rugby club at different times and during different games. We observed not only behaviors that stood out to us during those games, but also filled out observation sheets to record behaviors observed before, during and after the game.

The behaviors we were looking for were if fans were drinking or eating, sitting or standing, cheering or shouting, and/or sitting with fans from opposing teams. These sheets also determined if there was a large scale of a certain gender or age in each location that differed in others.

With each observation sheet and personal experiences with strange or interesting behaviors observed during each game, we analysed a pattern of behaviors that intersect with different rugby fans.

Quantitative

Regarding quantitative findings we discovered that 68% of the participants that watch rugby agree or strongly agree that they cheer more with friends rather than when they watch it with families or on their own.

The most popular reason for why they watch rugby was for socialising.

The 80% of the participants prefer a close game and 58% of them watch it in big groups, so it is quite high too the percentage of people that watch rugby in small groups or alone.

Another fact we got to know by the questionnaires, was that 68% of the respondents drink and eat while watching rugby, no matter the result of the game.

Qualitative

By observing people in different locations we get to the conclusion that the location affects demographics of audience and who they attend with (for example, as we could see here, in the stadium the range of spectator’s age goes from 5 to 75 years old, while…. ).

As well as the quantitative data shows, no matter the result of the game, they were always drinking or eating something everywhere.

Research showed that when winning they were more cheering and happier, while when losing they focus more on socialising and they cheer less.
