Description: Hello,
My topic is:
Gregory of Tours. The History of the Franks. Trans. Lewis Thorpe. Harmondsworth: Penguin, 1974.
– •The parts dealing with Gregory’s own lifetime are probably the most interesting. As bishop of Tours, he was well-positioned to observe events in both church and state.
this assignment is an outline for a research paper. My Project Statement should be a paragraph of about half a page (double spaced). It should enunciate a significant historical question which, in my view, my source can help answer. This has to be done for each source used. The professor wants you to find 8 sources that I could use for the final paper. My Strategic Bibliography is a preliminary working bibliography. The Bibliography should contain at least eight works of historical scholarship, of which at least four should be articles in journals or essays in collected volumes of essays. The articles or essays should come from the new Cambridge medieval history website : http://universitypublishingonline.org/cambridge/histories/subject_title_list.jsf?subjectCode=04&seriesCode=NCME&heading=The+New+Cambridge+Medieval+History&tSort=title+closed&aSort=author+default_list&ySort=year+default_list
The bibliography should be in proper “bibliography” citation format. Consult the Chicago Style citation guide.
