1. Although!there!are!no!set!limits!on!the!amount!of!independent!research!
required,!as!a!guideline,!you!should!read!at!least!40!printed!pages!of!material!
that!is!not!part!of!the!readings!for!the!course.!You!should!also!ensure!that!these!
pages!are!from!at!least!three!different!sources.
2. For!your!citations!and!bibliography,!you!can!use!any!standard!citation!system!
