Case Managers FT employed @$15/hr 4. ESL teacher helpers PT employed @$13/hr 5. Warehouse attendant & office cleaner FT employed @12/hr Activities: – English as a Second Language (ESL). The approach is to use a native speaker with a teacher helper who speaks the same language as the clients (refugees). – Mental Health (senior refugee support, Young girls’ sports and exhibition events, Young boys sports, etc.- to fight trauma, anxiety, stress, PTSD…) – Interpreters training (with a focus on languages with 2 different dialects) – Job search – Job readiness – Resume building – Certified Nurse Assistance (CAN) class scholarships (to help men and women work at high rate) – Computer literacy – Driver’s permit and driver’s license guidance Project duration: 1 year (renewable after final & project closure evaluation report evaluation).
