Assignment Instructionsimage of social worker and client in a session This video is a role play of a social worker meeting with a distressed client. While you are viewing the video, you will annotate in real time when you observe specific listening skills, such as reflecting, validating, acknowledging, summarizing. Notice both verbal and nonverbal communication. Using the annotation function, notate at the specific points in the video when you observe warmth, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. Also, make a note when the social worker could respond more effectively. What can he say and do differently to support the client, demonstrate empathy, improve his active listening skills? How might the client respond differently? Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XH2tF8oB3cw&t=5s
