Please, least i forget, when writing, let there be argument in the work (that is what my teacher wants to see) the opinions of different authors should be brought in, and used to argue, it shouldn’t just be descriptive. Health Effects on the Built Environment
In this week’s readings, you have learned how policy, systems, and environmental change approaches are promising and essential to addressing health inequities; however, to be optimally effective, such changes also require strategic actions to reduce or eliminate any barriers populations experiencing health disparities face. This is the CommonApp essay prompt I’ve chosen. For background to add to the story, my father has had Type 1 diabetes for almost 20 years. He has suffered through a lot of pain from effects of Type 1 diabetes, and I see his pain every day. He receives tons of medication in the mail, and we would be struggling if his work didn’t provide such good health insurance. I would like this essay to convey this story behind my desire to find a cure or fix for diabetes. I do not want it to focus on me actually discovering the cure, but rather my reasoning behind it and what it stands for. Also, do not worry about using any sources.
