“You are a management consultant who has been asked by the Green Company to help design an ethics and communication and training program for all Green Company employees. Your meetings to date have been with the head of human resources, and your contract with the company has been negotiated with him.
Once the papers have been signed, you begin your research, and are quickly stymied by the Green Company’s corporate counsel. She/he announces that you will not be allowed to ask employees about ethical dilemmas that have occurred at Green.
He specifically asks you to get your information from other sources- such as press accounts of problems in the industry, or from other organization that you have worked with.
In addition, the head of human resources has told you that you will be unable to meet the three most senior executives, because they are busy negotiating a large acquisition.
You will have access to other high-level managers who can tell you what they think the seniors want.
You are instructed to write a code of conduct for the company and a mission statement, and to prepare presentations for the senior managers to give to employees sometime next month on corporate expectations and values.”

Confucius and Aristotle on Virtue. Write an essay comparing these two (2) ancient thinkers on the concept of virtue or good ethical character and conduct. Stay focused on the issue; keep any biographical or other information short or limited. As much as possible, analyze their writings

a) Compare the teachings of Confucius and Aristotle on what constitutes virtue or good ethical character and conduct, noting similarities and differences in specific ideas or emphasis.

b) Consider what your findings suggest about differences between ancient Chinese and ancient Greek culture.

c) From this comparison, suggest ideas of virtue that can apply to ethics in a modern setting, such as a diverse workplace.

Establish a clear thesis about your topic as part of the introductory paragraph (often the thesis is the last thing one determines after doing the basic research and outline; however it will be placed in the first paragraph of your paper).
This is a comparative essay. Comparison approached properly will require some critical thinking on your part. Use a point-by-point approach for the essay. That means, if comparing subject A with subject B, don’t do the first half of the essay on subject A and then the second half on subject B–that will seem like two (2) separate essays and comparisons will tend to get lost. Instead, you should be mentioning both subjects in most of your paragraphs as you compare them throughout the essay. Comparisons will identify similarities as well as contrasts.
Do not try to do everything on your two (2) subjects. You should end up narrowing your focus to a few insights and issues about the subjects being compared. And, from those fairly specific points of comparison, you will develop a thesis and glean some lessons.
Follow closely the instructions below for your specific topic.
Include a concluding paragraph at the end. This paragraph will, in some way, refer back to the thesis established in your first paragraph, since now you have demonstrated and supported it. It may be here that you also include your observations relating your study to the modern workplace or society.

Please use the outline I have put together as a guide to the idea and the flow of the paper. However, there is no need to adhere to the exact titles or structure.
The Paper should be about how Pretrial diversion programs work and should be adopted more widely in the federal system (especially as it pertains to youth). It should be 30 pages, and have approximately 30-40 sources. Citations should follow Bluebook guidelines. The paper should have an abstract, Table of Contents, and table of sources at the end (not included in the 30 pages).
The introduction can take up a lot of room explaining what diversion programs are, their history and their legislative history, the difference and similarities between the federal and state Systems. The focus should be on the federal System and the DC system. The next section should talk about some of the pros (Social, economic, etc.) and cons of the system. Then give examples of successful programs, and examples of issues with the program. The last section should be a discussion about the how on balance, the benefits of this system outweigh the issues and the cons the system presents. A high emphasis on giving people a true second chance to succeed with the right tools versus throwing them in jail or blemishing their record with a criminal charge. (The social injustice of how many of the people who suffer most from this are black young males who come from impoverished backgrounds).
The paper should include charts, graphs and of statistics (which will also help take up some space) that represent the overall success of the programs (at the federal, DC, or national level). This research is being used for a juris doctoral level paper, and as such, should be at a high level, and of course completely authentic.

The draft contract must clearly show key future in the article of agreement that will help avoid litigation that arose from the current case law between Multiplex Constructions (UK) Ltd v Cleveland Bridge. The draft contract is to be attached to your report as an appendix.

6. Font size must be 14, your choice of font style. Use of bold, underline, coloring, is up to you.

7. Include a fictitious 800 number for further assistance

8. Use any fictitious company, brand, make, model, name you like.

9. Remember this assignment should remain on only one page! Use landscape if you feel it is necessary.
