Interaction analysis. Trans-cultural communication at work

This is final assignment for a subject named: Trans-cultural communication at work, for PhD degree in applied linguistics.

MOST IMPORTANT:

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY. THIS IS THE MAIN DESCRIPTION OF THE ASSIGNMENT.
KINDLY, PAY ATTENTION TO ALL THE ATTACHED FILES ESPECIALLY THE POWERPOINT SLIDES WHICH CONTAIN ALL THE NECESSARY EXPLANATION AND THE INFORMATION NEEDED FOR DOING THE ASSIGNMENT.

NOTE THAT ALL THE REFERENCES THAT YOU NEED TO PERFECTLY DO THE ASSIGNMENT CAN BE FOUND IN TWO PLACES. FIRST, IN THE ATTACHED LIST OF REFERENCES. SECOND, AT THE END OF EACH SLIDE (POWERPOINT FILES)

ALSO PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING ATTACHED FILE AND THEIR DESCRIPTION AS BELOW:

I have uploaded with this order the following files:
A- The assignment’s detailed description and criteria that MUST be met.
B- Mp3 file contains the video which you need to analyse (the conversation).
C- A transcription of the video to help the writer to analyse the features of communication. (NOTE THAT I HAVE NUMBERED EACH LINE IN THE DIALOUGUE IN THE TRANSCRIPTION SO THAT THE WRITER NEEDS ONLY TO REFER TO THE LINE NUMBER WITHOUT QUOATING ANY PHRASE FROM THE TRANSCRIPTION- UNLESS IT IS NECESSARY.)
D- An example of a written paper for the same assignment which was submitted by previous student in the same assignment, the same course, and to the same professor. This paper was graded very badly, but I have uploaded to you to help the writer and give him some information about how is the assignment. The writer can use the references in this assignment but he must add more references and some changes in the references list to avoid similarities.
E- I will upload a list of references (these list of references includes the exact number of the helpful pages) that the writer will need to get the idea of the topic, and it will help him to do the analysis. He should use some of these references and he can add some other references from the lists at the end of each PowerPoint file.
F- All the PowerPoint slides for the course which contain all the information you need to understand the topic and do the analysis. The slides contain all the description and the theories for the analysis. Moreover, at the end of each PowerPoint file there is a list of references that you need for more analysis information.

The assignment should be done as follow:
1- The assignment’s idea is to analyse the conversation between the two persons in the video (Mp4 file) according to the theories in the filed of trans-cultural communication at work.
2- A transcription of the video will be also attached to the order.
3- You need to concentrate your analysis on three of the following features:

A- Creating rapport
B- Non-verbal forms of communication including silence
C- Face and politeness
D- Power and solidarity
E- Accommodation
However, you need to write and mention the other remaining two features if they are existed in the dialogue in the video interaction. You do not have to write too much about these two. It will be enough to mention them and analyse them slightly. You need of course to support the analysis by theories.

4- For each feature analysis, you should first identify where each feature has occurred in the text (in the transcript: namely to determine which lines), justify it and analyse it, and then discuss it according to the theories in the trans-cultural communication.
5- Each feature should be analysed under a separate subtitle.
6- You should focus on a detailed analysis of the segments you select (segments from the conversation for each feature). You should draw on trans-cultural communication theories from relevant literature.

After providing all these information I DO expect high quality work.

orgnizational communication

*Think of a time when you struggled with semantic meaning. Perhaps you had trouble understanding someone’s highly abstract language, or maybe you confused someone else by using equivocal language. In your learning journal, use some vocabulary you’ve learned in this chapter to describe the misunderstanding that occurred, and how it might have been avoided if possible.

Crisis Comm

Please write what the answer to each of the 10 lessons is in light of VW’s recent crisis. I attached a paper I wrote on this.
This is not a paper assignment. Use my notes and write an analysis answer to each for how each lesson applies to VW.
Below are the lecture notes. Look for each lesson, It is marked lesson, 10 for each chapter 3. Like Lesson 1: Determine your goals for crisis communication. Then apply to VW crisis.

Write out the lesson question, then write a response applying that lesson to VW. You may refer to my paper. This is not an actual essay, just applying the 10 lessons to VW.

Managerial communications

Final Project:
Whereas the midterm asked you to be reactive to a problem or deficiency in communication as related to some aspect of organizational life, the final project asks you to be proactive and creative in redesigning communication with an aspect of the organization’s external environment.
This environment can include:
• Patients, clients, or other service recipients
• Collaborating organizations
• Citizens or other constituents
• Other stakeholders as appropriate
This redesigned communication plan should be based in the mission and functions of the organization, and should be realistic in terms of implementation.
This paper should briefly discuss the organization’s mission and function, considerations of appropriate communication with the focal aspect of the environment given that mission, an ideal set of communication practices with stakeholders (including attention to methods, frequency, and other concrete details), and possible difficulties with implementing this plan.
The final project will be graded based on analytical strength (clarity and depth of arguments), use of course material (how assigned readings are used to make key points and support your assertions), and stylistic considerations (quality of writing, grammar and spelling, adherence to APA Style guidelines, etc.)
This project should include a cover page, between 7-8 full pages of text (2200-2500 words), and a list of references.

Semiotic – Method Explication

It is critical to get the class text which is called Communication Criticism. It is important make main references from books along with the other readings. You must give examples and be sure that you do not repeat any of the examples that the teacher has given in the lecture notes. That is why it is critical to read all the material and that you follow the instructions infatically. Follow the instructions because they are real clear. failure to comply will result in a D. Please real all the material and look up additional readings that are suggested in the attachments. if you have questions do not hesitate contacting. I have given an entire week to be sure that you have enough time to do this in a thorough way. The proof read must be done by your best writers as promised for free for all the material I have given and the patience I have had with other orders.

For clarification:

1. You are not required to analyze an artifact. This paper is only about explaining the method. You should use relevant and appropriate rhetorical examples as you explain the material.

2. This is essentially a six paragraph essay.

Paragraph 1: What is the method and why do we use it?

Paragraph 2: Assumption/Presupposition 1

Paragraph 3: Assumption/Presupposition 2

Paragraph 4: Concept 1

Paragraph 5: Concept 2

Paragraph 6: Concept 3

There is no need for an intro or a conclusion. You can use section headers to help organize the paper and keep you focused.

Use the writing guide included in the instructions to see what I am looking for in terms of explicating the material. You want your writing to read like the examples at the bottom of the page.
