A sample project template is available for download in Doc Sharing. The sample project compares the ratio performance of Tootsie Roll and Hershey using the 2012 financial statements of Tootsie Roll and Hershey provided at their websites.
Description
This course contains a Course Project. You will be required to submit one draft of the project at the end of Week 5 and the final, completed project at the end of Week 7. Using the financial statements for Oracle Corporation and Microsoft Corporation, respectively, you will calculate and compare the financial ratios listed further down this document for the fiscal year ending 2011 and prepare your comments about the two companies’ performance based on your ratio calculations. The entire project will be graded by the instructor at the end of the final submission in Week 7, and one grade will be assigned for the entire project.
Overall Requirements
For the Final Submission:
Your final Excel workbook submission should contain the following items. You cannot use any other software but Excel to complete this project.
1. A completed worksheet title page tab, which is really a coversheet with your name, the course, the date, your instructor’s name, and the title for the project.

Be As Specific As Possible and Substantiate your plan With at least 3 peer reviewed journal articles. Make sure your references are cited using APA format. The plan should should be structured as if it were going to be presented to the city council or county commission. Be sure to include information about the consequences that could result if the citizens are not allowed a voice in financial planning.

Answer the following questions.
Answer the question fully using legal terminology from the chapter. Come to the conclusion don’t just state it. Reference the page number that each answer was found on next to the completed answer (example… no dogs are not allowed inside pg 77)
Read and answer the questions asked. Use all appropriate legal terms, define where necessary and cite to pages in book where possible.

formulation of the Mathematical Model

Topic: Assignment task3
Order Description
The assignment is 2 case studies
1- Planning diet for the food
2- Diamonds are forever
I’ll upload both in my account.
the way how you solve these ceases and how you find the optimal solution should be written in details
PS : would like to point your attention towards the fact that the formulation of the Mathematical Model underlying the solution to the question 1 (“Find the weekly diet that…”) is mandatory.

idea to help you solve case study 2 :
1-Start by including a low number of independent variables into your model and then proceed by increasing level of complexity gradually increasing the number of decision variables you introduce into your model);
2. At each step, compare the R square and Adjusted R square values of your resulting models.
3. Again, remember about the principle of parsimony (all other factors held equal, a better model is the one with fewer independent variables). Having said this Adjust R square should still be your leading indicator.
4. If several instances of a new level of complexity (say, the combination of three independent variables) does not produce a better Adjusted R square value, when compared to the best result acquired at a lower level of complexity, then you may arrive at a conclusion that there is no point proceeding with adding new independent variables to the model.
This is where your search for the best fitted model will stop. To reiterate, you certainly should not try all possible combinations of the six decision variables, but instead you should start by considering a lower number of decision variables first and then progress towards increasing the complexity of your tentative regression models, continuously checking and updating your Adjusted R Square values.
