Discuss The Future Of The Commerce. How The Internet Will Change The Consumption In 10 Years?
| Demand Elasticity |
Please, read the article Hainer, R. (2010), provided in the required readings section for this week. The tobacco industry is a prime example to consider when talking about price elasticity of demand. While nicotine use can be addictive for many users, it is not addictive for the so-called “social smokers”.
What can we say about the price elasticity of demand for nicotine products (such as cigarettes, pipes, tobacco) in the group of nicotine addicted users, versus the group of “social smokers”? Can we say whose demand is likely to be more elastic? Why?
Guided Response: Provide your response to the discussion question in 300 words or more. Further, comment on the effectiveness of government policy aimed at reducing the negative effects of smoking on health. For example, consider high taxation on producers? – is that effective? Respond substantively to at least two of your classmates’ postings. Substantive responses use theory, research, and experience or examples to support ideas and further the class knowledge on the discussion topic.

The purpose of the course project is to provide you with an opportunity to synthesize various influences that help define ethical and legal behavior in a health care environment into a formal paper. Draw upon scholarly literature and trends to predict how theory will be modified and applied to evaluate dilemmas health care providers must confront.
This formal paper asks you to evaluate day-to-day ethical and legal dilemmas and examine cultural, ethical, and legal norms within the health care arena; for example, right to die issues and health care as a privilege or right.
use the following theory:
Utilitarianism.
You will use the theory selected to analyze the value dilemmas that health care providers must confront. You may integrate several theories as necessary, but the theory you select must be the prominent one you use to guide your analysis throughout the paper.
Paper Contents:
Title page: Include a descriptive title that indicates your chosen topic focus.
Table of contents: Orient the reader to the main parts of the paper.
Introduction: State your approach and assumptions, the background the reader needs to understand your approach, and how you intend to address the key issues.
Applications: Evaluate how legal and ethical practice standards and health care decision making are applied in health care services delivery.
Assumptions: Synthesize the information from the trend and application analyses with assumptions about the current and future use of ethics and decision making in health care. Provide the rationale and supporting data for each assumption.
Conclusions: Summarize your findings and speaks to future applications and research areas in ethics and health care decision making.

obstacles” but i posted the other parts just for the writer to understand the scenario a bit more. So
“alternatives solutions and obstacles” thats where the writer need to focus on. Read my part
about the “alternatives solutions and obstacles” that we came up with as a group and also read
the instruction of “alternatives solutions and obstacles” and also “solutions”. Then do the
research by using a source from “list A” and “list B”. focus your research about what i came up
with the “alternatives solutions and obstacles” if you do that, then you can do the “Solutions”
itself mentioned above because it goes together.(just read the instruction).
PS: Please if you DONT get anything ask me about it.
The essay prompt is: Does Samantha in the movie Her represent A.I. or is she just a program? Is Samantha just a software program, or does she represent the next stage of human evolution? Please debate the issue of A.I. and transhuman values by referring to the ideas of John Searle and Nick Bostrom.*
*The readings for the class you should include are: John R. Searle, “The Myth of the Computer,” and Nick Bostrom “Transhuman Values.”
Here is a link to two Ted Talks by Nick Bostrom on End of Humanity and Artificial Intelligence.
Nick Bostrom: Ted Talk: End of Humanity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0Nf3TcMiHo
Nick Bostrom: What happens when our computers get smarter than we are? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnT1xgZgkpk
Please make sure your essay has a title, your name is on it, there is a cover page and you do proper citations.
Here is the grading rubric I will use:
A project: Papers in this range demonstrate a thorough and exceptional understanding of the movie and the philosophy behind artificial intelligence and transhumanism. An A essay shows originality, and goes well beyond the partial understandings achieved in class discussions. There is discussion of Searle and Bostrom, both authors are quoted and discussed. An A essay gives insights to the readings and movie Her that surprise me, and is able to focus on ideas that go overlooked. The essay uses quotations properly and quotations from reading are often closely woven into essay. In the best A papers, the writer is (sometimes self-consciously) working not to be simplistic or reductive.
UNIT SIX INTRODUCTION
In this unit, we will focus on the benefits of series preaching – the friend of the busy pastor. The Bible is replete with examples of
sequential issues that could serve as the biblical foundation for a sermon series. In fact, you may just want to use the text above to serve as
your next 8 part preaching series!
UNIT SIX OUTCOMES
Upon completion of this unit you should be able to:
1. Identify the benefits of preaching in series.
2. Distinguish the limitations of preaching in series.
3. Examine a late or contemporary preacher who modeled series preaching.
4. Outline a six weeks’ preaching series.

UNIT SIX ASSIGNMENTS
6.1 TEXT/MEDIA: TEXTBOOK
INTRODUCTION AND ALIGNMENT
The course text goes to some length, in several chapters, to highlight characteristics of series preaching. This assignment aligns with the
course in that it helps the student not only to examine the characteristics of series preaching, but to also apply them as well in one’s own
preaching ministry.
Upon completion of this assignment you should be able to:
• Identify the benefits of preaching in series.
RESOURCES
Textbook: The Art and Craft of Biblical Preaching
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Series preaching has long been favored by both expository and topical preachers. A few primary benefits of series preaching are:
• It gives the preacher time to stay in a book of the Bible, or on a topic, and then be able to adequately deal with the material for some time.
• It gives the audience time to stay in a book, or on a topic, as well. So often, laypeople do not stay long enough in one place in their
reading of the Word to serve them well. Series preaching exposes them to thought that has been allowed to germinate, grow root, and bear fruit.
• Series preaching, once guided by the Holy Spirit to the content, gives the preacher a nearly inexhaustible supply of sermon material. The
Gospel communicator can plan months, or even years in advance.
INSTRUCTIONS
1.Read the textbook, chapters- 118, 119, 120, 165, 184, 193.

6.5 UNIT ASSIGNMENT: SERMON SERIES OUTLINE
INTRODUCTION AND ALIGNMENT
Before we leave the subject of series preaching, we want to give you the experience of planning your own series – hence, this assignment. It
aligns with the course in that this assignment actually prepares you to do your own preparation for a series that you can one day actually
preach.
Upon completion of this assignment you should be able to:
Outline a four week preaching series.
RESOURCES
Textbook: The Art and Craft of Biblical Preaching
Your Bible
Your own creative thought
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Now is the time for you to get alone by yourself, roll up your sleeves, do some real praying and thinking, and ask the Lord for some guidance in
creating your own preaching series with the text readings for this unit also in mind. You are not asked to write an entire series of completed
sermons, but rather an outline that lays out a series of no less than six messages to be preached in serial fashion at some point in the future.
Consider the following:
• Will you start with a topic in culture that needs to be addressed via scripture, or will you start with scripture (perhaps a small book like
Jonah or James)?
• Why have you chosen topical over expository, or expository over topical, and why?
• What, if any, media will you use (YouTube, etc.)?
• What is the goal of this series? What do you want your listeners to take away from this series?
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Decide on the nature of your 4 week sermon series – either a book of the Bible, a doctrinal series, or a topical series arising from current
events.
2. In a document of no less than 4 pages (1 page minimum per sermon), outline the sermon series, with each outline to include:
a. the title of the message
b. the biblical text
c. a brief introduction
d. 3-5 main points, with a germane illustration for each main point
e. any sub-points you wish to include
f. a brief conclusion
3. In another Word document (after completing your series outline), answer the following questions in no less than 250 words:
a. Did you start with a topic in culture, or did you start with scripture, and why was that your starting point?
b. Did you use any media (YouTube, etc.)? Why or why not?
c. What was the goal of this series?
d. What did you want your listeners to take away from this series?
4. Submit in Word document.
Pick a company that uses social media as a marketing and branding tool. Review at least three social media accounts your company of choice uses and assess the following:
1. In your opinion, what kind of image is the company trying to create using their social media accounts? Please use specific examples (tweets, Facebook posts, etc.)
2. How does this company use social media as a branding tool? How are they conveying what they are and do through social media?
3. Are users responding to the company’s social media posts? If so, how are they responding?
4. Do you think the company you are assessing has an effective strategy for using social media as a marketing tool?
At least two sources should be used. You are encouraged to use specific examples from social media accounts to support your point of view.
