Other Alternatives – Bring his family requesting VISA: This alternative does not work for John because the process will take at least 14 years, his parents were old. The family in Cuba could built a raft in Cuba and try on their own, so they request asylum by wet feet , dry feet policy: This alternative would not work either because in Cuba the people doesn’t have the possibilities to built a good raft. conclusion/result : The results of this case study is called double effect because all alternatives were exhausted, therefore it is permitted to perform an action to pursuit of a good end purpose, even though it can also bring bad consequences.
