The PEA is an introspective review of your Strategic Plan to identify potential areas of your organization that can be improved and summarized in terms
of action plans. There are two options based on the status of your current strategic plan. Successful completion of this assignment will make it easier
to complete future assignments.
Option 1: Intended for those with a well defined strategic plan or have a solid understanding of their organization.
Select 2 of the 4 structural variables where you feel the organization is most vulnerable or has the greatest need for improvement. For each of the
structural variables, identify atleast 2 tasks that are specific, measurable and time bound. Describe why these tasks are important to the success of
the implementation of your strategic plan.
For each of the tasks, describe how each of the 4 managerial skills can be leveraged to implement your strategic plan by performing your tasks.
Are any of the six silent killers a threat to the strategic plan? How do you plan on preventing the silent killers from negatively affecting your
strategic plan?
Option 2: Intended for those who have a general idea of their organization but lack solid evidence or details of the current strategic plan.
Evaluate your organization and identify which of the 8 levers are not working well. For each lever, identify at least 3 tasks that will improve the
areas of focus and describe why these tasks are important in terms of increased value to the organization. Tasks must be specific, measurable and time
bound.
