Cultural mini case study

The assigment should be written in the following steps:
1) TITLE
Author Name
Affiliation, Country
2)EXECUTIVE SUMMARY OF CASE

3)ORGANIZATION OR SITUATION BACKGROUND
Provide background on the history of the organization (or situation), type of business, products/services
provided, management structure, strategic planning, organizational culture, economic climate and any other
issues that you feel are necessary to provide the reader with a comprehensive understanding of the background
of the case. Only include what is relevant to the case study.

4)SETTING THE STAGE
Describe the cultural elements in the existing management practices and management styles, etc. of the
organization or in the situation prior to the advent of the cultural challenge encountered in your experience
described in the case. Also describe the players (stakeholders) involved and their roles within the company or
the case.

5) CASE DESCRIPTION
Provide a detailed overview of the project/experience. Suggested coverage might include those listed below
but add, delete, or modify sub-headings to make them appropriate for YOUR case:
• Cross-Cultural Challenges and Problems
• Cultural Dimensions and Components
• Cross-Cultural Management and Organizational Concerns

6)LESSONS LEARNED
Reflect what has happened in terms how the cultural experiences have made you learn or become more aware
of your own cultural values, how the incidents made you become more sensitive to others or to the culture you
had experienced with and lastly how the incidents made you behave more appropriately at that time or after
you have learned about it. Refer and reflect of the cultural competency model that we discuss in class.

7)SOLUTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Discuss solutions and recommendations in dealing with the cultural challenges, controversies, problems
presented in the preceding section.
