My previous order was submitted today. I am waiting on my chair to approve it. I think it may work. I am in the process of trying to get my concept paper approved as soon as possible so that I can submit my proposal.
Below is an email from my chair. Please advise me on whether I should go ahead and place the order or email chapter 2 to you so that you may see what you will be working with.
EMAIL FROM CHAIR
The goal is to achieve the Concept Paper benchmark as quickly as possible so you can move on to the Proposal. The Concept Paper is normally between 10-12 pages total. Your document is more like a half Proposal. My suggestion is to revise Chapter 1 (suggestions attached) and to pare down Chapter 2 to submit as a Concept Paper. You can use the rest of the work you have done on the latter when you write the formal Proposal. The purpose of the Concept Paper is to give some structure to the Proposal and to provide your Committee with the basics of what you will be proposing. If you go in the wrong direction and go too far, you may have done an extensive amount of work for nothing. Again, that it why I am recommending that you pare down the chapter and submit it, with the revised Chapter 1, as a Concept Paper. It may help to review the information on the ARC website for Concept Papers. If you have any questions, let me know. I think you have the basis for a good study, but we need to get the CP approved first. Bob
