Homeless people in america

Homeless people in america
Conduct a document review and identify at least ten sources that you can draw upon when writing your research proposal. The document review is designed to do two things: 1) give your readers an overview of sources you have explored while researching a particular topic or idea and 2) demonstrate how your research fits into the larger field of study, in this case, social work.
You may noticed that I have not called this a literature review. Typically, literature reviews consist of peer reviewed articles. For this article you are can use any document to support your research. For example if studying the impact of homeless ordinances, you might include city codes or notes from a city council meeting.
All your documentation should support the following:
Review previous studies regarding the topic (from the research proposal rubric)
1.Important recent work on main theoretical questions
2.Historical background of theoretical questions
3.Important recent work on general empirical issues
4.Best work on specific research questions, both regarding the hypotheses and the data
5.Literature review should aim at a dialogue with the past work, putting into context, identifying relevant limitations, inconsistencies, and opportunities for extension
6.Should locate the research within an area in sociology and a program of past research, clarifying the theoretical and empirical traditions that shape and motivate the research
7.If the research has relevance for policy issues, these should be examined (critical for funding proposals)
