Mental Health and its Correlation to Homelessness
The Literature Review is not a summary or report out of each of the references that you are citing, but a well written narrative of the substantive prior research that you are going to use to support your research topic. In the Literature Review, you explain what the prior research was and how it relates to your research project. The prior research does not need to be entirely on point with your topic but if you think it is relevant then include it. For example, if the prior research is about drug treatment effects for men and your topic includes drug treatment for both genders, then by all mean use it. Remember that you need to use the third person throughout the Literature Review and avoid a personal reference to yourself.
